Home Sweet Home Manor I is absolutely adorable! I had a walk through shortly after the new renovations and upgrades were completed, and I must say that this is not only a beautiful home to place my loved one, but even a place I would love to live in! The kitchen is spacious, bright and inviting with brand new appliances. The dining area is also large and has a large window allowing plenty of natural light to shine through. The living room is open, spacious, bright and inviting. There’s 4 power recliners, and the bedrooms are also located off of this room. There is a wall mounted, brand new flat screen tv with premium channels as well as local channels. The bedrooms are bright with updated electrical and lighting, all new blinds and window curtains. I just can’t say enough about this home! I’ve walked through many homes in the past few weeks and they have all been very similar; out dated, small, offers no perks...all very “cookie cutter”. I love that this home sets itself apart from the rest. It really feels like a lot of thought and compassion went into the overall design and flow of this home. I recommend anyone looking to place their loved one to check out this home. You won’t be disappointed! I was able to meet a few staff members as well as the owners, and they were all very friendly and upbeat individuals. It seems as though this home is very well Taken care of around the clock.

Overall, Home Sweet Home Assisted Living Facility is a typical assisted living facility. The grounds are kept nicely. However, there is not much space for outdoor activities. The facility lacks walking paths, picnic tables, or any sort of means for outdoor living. Also, the rooms are newly renovated and nicely furnished. However, they are very small and do not provide a ton of natural light for residents. They almost mirror hospital rooms since there is a great lack of windows. Furthermore, the rooms lack storage space and almost feel like a hotel room as opposed to a home. The food is not up to par, either. There is not a wide variety of choices or a variety of meal times. However, the one saving grace of Home Sweet Home Assisted Living Facility is the staff. They are all friendly and generous. Not only do they take the time to care for the residents, but they become friends to them as well.
