My mother-in-law is in Verona Adult Foster Care Center. We are happy with it and hopefully she can remain there. I choose it because I know the girl that runs the place as I went to school with her. I hear a lot of good things about this place. It is also convenient for us to go visit her three times a week. If my mother-in-law possibly gets worse down the road, we may have to move her. But for now, this is a good place for her. They are good to her. What we like best is that it's like home. She is comfortable there and they have everything they need. They have a lift chair. The have a number of staff for the residents. It is originally someone's home that they turn into a facility and the owner is hands on. She generally like working with old people and it shows. She's very caring. If I have to go into a nursing home tomorrow, that will be where I want to go.
