When I walked in there was music over the speakers through out playing softly. The environment smelled sterile and I never have liked that hospital smell. When I have visited other nursing homes at other times I have usually heard another resident moaning in a chair, drooling or doing something else that was disturbing. For the first time ever when I walked in I didn't hear any of that and I think it could have been due to the soft music playing over the system that calms the residents. I found the nurses to be very helpful and the entire staff seemed to enjoy their job. This facility also has excursions for the higher functioning residents to leave the building and go out shopping and do other things. While my grandfather would not be able to join, I thought this was an excellent idea. I would recommend this facility to other people.

The staff at TenderCare were caring and competent. I felt that my father-in-law was given a very satisfactory amount of staff time and resources to keep him comfortable and help him rehabilitate. The only reasons I can't give this facility a five star rating is because he didn't care for the food and I felt the nutrition could have better, such as less processed foods being served. All in all, I would highly recommend TenderCare.
