In addition to always getting our order correct, she comes back several times to ask how the food was and if there is anything else that we need. When we are finished, she will ask if we want desert. She is so pleasant and always has a smile. I felt like I was at a restaurant on fifth avenue."

"My father moved into The Fairways at Naples. The staff was nice and took good care of them. The room was very nice. We like the atmosphere. It's new and clean. The dining area was very nice. My father likes it, so that's all that matters. The residents are busy with activities. They do everything. They do art and music, and they have parties for Mardi Gras. They had one for Valentine's Day. They're very active. The staff gets everybody involved. No matter what the level of care the people are in, they have them all involved, which is nice. For amenities, they have physical therapy and a barber shop there."

"I toured The Collier at Naples. One thing I did like about this place is most of them just have what they call a suite. So, you open the door and there's a bed, a chair, a desk, and the bathroom, and that's claustrophobic for me and I know it will be for her. I met one person who was very nice and very helpful, and took me on the tour, explained everything to me, and gave me some information to bring home. The structure of the building seemed fine. I like Collier because they are like a small apartment. My mother would have not only a living room, but she would also have a kitchen. They don't have a stove in there for memory care, but she has a refrigerator and cabinets. When I stepped into this facility, I felt comfortable."

"I was a resident of Amavida at Lakes Park for about a year and a half. It was perfect for my needs at the time. My interaction with the staff was very good. My apartment was adequate for a single male. It is a one-bedroom with a bath, a bedroom, a living room, and a kitchen. There are three meals a day, and they allow you so much money for eating. The meals are not like home, but they're adequate. There are not enough amenities. They have bingo, and they have music twice a week sometimes. Sometimes they have bocce ball. Most things get canceled before they get started. They have common areas where you can come and just sit around and do nothing. The building itself was good and clean. There's a little lake there. It was exactly what a single male might need if he had no other place to go. I had good experiences with all the staff and all the other residents. It's very nice meeting all the residents. However, for what you get, it's so expensive. It's like expensive hotels."

"It was very pleasant. The person who represents them was very informative and very experienced. She knew exactly what to show and tuned into what our needs are going to be, so it was a very positive experience. This is a memory care facility and are very engaged with keeping the residents busy and not sitting around. They have the ability to go outdoors at will because of the way it is set up, do music therapy with them, have children visiting, and encourage them to use the garden. It is very different from where my mom is now."

"Beach House was very nice, and the physical plan was very nice, but there weren't a lot of men there, so I was concerned about that. The staff was very good, she was very helpful, and answered all my questions. The dining area was very nice. They were doing arts and crafts when I was there."

"We considered moving mother here. The place was very nice and accommodating. The people were absolutely wonderful, and they were sitting around when we were there. The rooms were smaller. The dining room was nice. The staff during my visit was wonderful, and we do keep in touch with her. "

"We had a beautiful time visiting the independent living community of The Pineapple House at Sapphire Lakes. Everything was just perfect. It's also close to where we live right now, which means that I'll be close to my daughter. That's where I would like to go. I really loved it. We looked at a one-bedroom and a couple of studio apartments. There was a studio that caught my attention with the porch thing outside. The others didn't have it, and I like that, so that's what I wanted. Another thing is that the sizes were just perfect. They had a smaller studio and a larger one. The 2-bedroom apartments were also good. Unfortunately, it is expensive for someone who's of a limited income, but that is my problem, not theirs. We saw they had a pool, which is important because I do water aerobics. They had a little room that was like a bar area where you could have a drink, which was different. There was a room where you could make things and work with your hands. They had a room for physical therapy too. Their dining room was beautiful beyond words. It was just gorgeous. They had a nursing staff there, but you can also have anyone who's not part of the facility come in to take care of you. They're open, and the atmosphere of everything was just geared to the people who live there. I could not say how excited I was that it was just so perfect. It was so clean and so new-ish. I found out it was five years old, and one important aspect is that they made that place to be hurricane proof so you didn't have to leave if there was a hurricane coming. That's really important. Another thing was that the people who work there were very sweet. They smile at you and say hello, so it makes you feel comfortable to be there."

"My brother stayed here, and the community was very nice. It's just my brother needed nursing care, so that wasn't for him, and that's why we moved him. The apartments were very nice, though, and very clean, and the staff seemed to be very good."

"My mother-in-law is a resident at the memory care unit of American House Fort Myers. It's very open and has an airy space. The care is also very good. The staff is excellent and provides excellent service. The facility is very clean. They have a swimming pool, and for activities, they have bingo and various other games. They're just very expensive."

"My wife was at this facility and lived very happy for her remaining years. The young ladies who cared for her did gods work. Everyone cared for one another. We always knew where my wife was and there was no body better at dealing with folks with Alz than Arden Courts."

"Barrington Terrace of Naples has a very friendly atmosphere. From what I understand, the people that have worked there have worked there for several years. They do not have a lot of turnovers. People have been there, and they're very happy working there . The rooms were very nice. They took us to the dining room, and we met the chef. The tour was great. They took us through the whole place. All the people seemed to be very content. I was very pleased with it. The only thing that I didn't like is that it didn't seem like there was good parking. It was very bad and it was very hard to get a parking spot. But that was the only downfall, other than that, it was a very, very accommodating place. As we walked in, they were playing games right in the center area there. We got to see a couple of rooms. The rooms were all decorated to their taste. They had decorations on their door. The dining room was set up very nicely. It was set up very, very pretty. We went to the clubhouse where they have socials, and that was done very nicely, too. Even though it's an older facility, everything is warm and friendly. It's very nice and clean. "

"I got a good feeling about Arden Courts when we visited. It felt all right and it's also close to our home. The staff was fine and very nice to my mom. They have a swimming pool and walkways for the residents. Mom's moving in on May 1st. "
