"Meadowlark Gardens I was very nice and clean. It was a regular house in a regular neighborhood, and that was what I was looking for. The staff who assisted me with the tour was very friendly and helpful. I saw some residents there in their wheelchairs watching TV. I saw a private room, and it was very clean and very nicely decorated. The courtyard had tables and stuff."

"My mom was at Beach Terrace. It was a very comforting place. The people were extremely nice. The staff and all the workers, they were all really, really helpful and knowledgeable. They did a great job with my mom. They were very accommodating, so it was a good experience. I was really happy with them. The place was clean and in a very nice shape. Everything was well taken care of. They were just very understanding. And it started with the receptionist when I walked in, she's a very sweet girl. The menu was good and the food was good, too. It was good quality. I watched a few of them bowling, and then a church group came in and did worship, and that was good. They had a lot of activities. Once a month, they had something where they invited the families. It was very affordable, and cheaper than most, for sure. There was nothing I wasn't satisfied with."

"We picked Rowntree Gardens for my mom because it's a very lovely place. It's clean, smells nice, and has lovely colors. The rooms are very nice. They have activities for the seniors. The residents arefriendly and talk to us, and the people who work there are nice and helpful. The marketing person that we've been dealing with isn't always as knowledgeable as we think she should be, but we were able to get the answers to our questions. It's very nice and the food is wonderful, and so far we're happy."

"The Brittany House looked very nice. It also looked super clean because they had wallpapers with cute colors on the wall. I thought it was bright and cheery. The rooms were very clean as well. I would love that place, but it was way too expensive. It is in a good location. The staff seemed friendly. They were very informative. "

The dining area was very nice and felt like a nice restaurant. There was someone playing the piano when I was there, and they had arts and crafts. They make you breakfast if you go down and ask for it."

"Regency Palms was just opening their Assisted Living Waiver Program, when we were fortunate enough to find them! Shortly after moving my cousin there from a raucous, dark nursing facility, she began to calm down physically and emotionally. The staff worked with her and communicated well with me. They were remarkably kind, helpful and eager to help me make it work for her. The rooms offer even a shared-room person some unexpected elements of privacy, and the facility is beautifully furnished, and clean. But truly, I was extremely impressed with the staff. Their commitment to quality care was palpable. I feel huge gratitude for their support."

"We went to Artesia Christian Home. Everybody there was very nice. I, personally, would recommend it. It was a little bit out of my price range, but she still might end up there. The staff was very knowledgeable and very understanding. They helped me because I did not really know what I needed. They had an activity rooms. It was an older facility, but they had a new part. They had small rooms, but in the newer section, the rooms were bigger and a lot nicer. The older section was old. They now had memory care, which they were building. They also had duplexes there. I thought they were great. "

"I liked Huntington Terrace North the best. It was a large, hustling and bustling place where people seemed healthy and happy, but the rooms were full. They had small and big apartments; the rooms were fine, but it was the feel of the place I liked most. It was a lively place where it seemed like everybody was taking part in conversations and saying hi. I liked that. "

"My mother chose this facility after previewing it with a friend, and we were able to move her in with ease. She loves Stephanie who is fabulous with crafts and activities, such an amazingly talented and kind gal. The facility is clean and the people working here are delightful! It wasn’t even too bad during Covid lockdown! We are kept informed by Rosa and the food is very good! "

"I went to Broodale Brookhurst, and I liked that one. However, my mother didn't like that she had to go so far upstairs to a room and come down the elevator. The woman who showed us around was very nice. The room was very nice. She actually showed us one where someone was about to move in and the family members had come and decorated it nicely for their dad. She showed us a couple of different sized rooms, and they were very nice. I knew they took them out and do things on a little bus; that was a nice thing to do so that they were not always staying inside. I liked that it was close to my dad. I used to live there, so I was familiar with it when they first built it. I liked the little garden -- the sitting area outside; it was very nice, and the people were very nice. "
