My mom went to Leominster Rehab after a hospital stay (not our choice). They put her in a private room but with a shared bathroom that she had to share with a man. The bathroom door in mom's room was broken so she couldn't close it completely but that didn't matter because the man she shared the bathroom with wanted it completely open when he used the bathroom, exposing himself to my poor mother multiple times per day. The first day we requested the bathroom door be fixed (never happened). Then I ask the social worker and others to ask the man to close the door when he used the bathroom. She said he didn't have the capacity to remember that. I was there and observed him leering/smiling at us while peeing (I closed the door in his face but of course it didn't close all the way). I complained again and was told there was nothing they could do. Filthy place - I opened her bedside table drawer and it was filled with blood and gore. I asked them to clean the room and they put a "clean this room at 10AM" sign on the door (no date) and every time I asked they said it was scheduled to be cleaned tomorrow. It never happened. The man next door was getting more bold so I took my mother home until I could get the insurance to approve a different rehab. Do not go here/last resort sort of place. Administration will gaslight you if you complain. Mom thought the nursing and aid staff were very nice (the one bright spot, not their fault administration is so bad), but this is a terrible place overall. Understaffed, tired building, super dirty and smelled like pee.

They don't believe in maintaining anything. equipment rarely works, food is awful, theft is unbelievable, (examples-lighting in my bathroom has been out for weeks, batteries for lift equipment are dead and uncharged, I've been sitting in a filled adult diaper since 3AM, its now almost 11AM, page for service goes unanswered for hours, my food goes into refrigerator regularly gets stolen). my bed is broken-won't come to sitting position. send me to Siberia for vacation.

Don't let your loved one suffer the indignities and mistreatment that comes of this horrible place. Some of the staff does care, but not the management, who are terribly incompetent and seem to change often. Terribly under-staffed. Residents are ignored and often suffer injuries as a result. Currently, air-conditioning is unavailable and a resident has been hospitalized with Legionnaires' disease. Management is in denial, as they know state of MA is too incompetent to investigate them. Your loved one deserves better!

If at all cost do not allow a loved one to suffer by rehabilitating or becoming a resident at this facility Severely understaffed staff is rude & lazy except for a few who are very kind and personable MOST are not! Most times no one at the from desk have to wait for someone to buzz you in All but the manager of the kitchen staff is rude Really sad that people that work outside the facility is willing to help more than those who are employed residents walk into others rooms unattended creating fear of safety The State of Massachusetts need to investigate this facility Very depressing place furniture looks like it’s from off the street Bedding and towels are awful You can get better bedding and towels from the Good Will I would give them -0 star but to leave a review I had to give a star Terrible terrible

This facility is absolutely horrible. My sister is here (working on finding somewhere else). The food is disgusting and she can hardly stomach it, they do not give her a shower unless WE tell them to, they refuse to honor their contract to provide transportation to medical appts and the nursing manager is sarcastic, rude and demeaning. The facility itself is filthy and desperately needs a bleaching. I will say that there are about 3 CNAs that are good there. But they are woefully understaffed and overworked. No amenities. Just sit and stare at the wall or tv.
