The rooms need major update The food if not so bad. Certainly not staffed properly. If you ring a bell for help it can be from 20-40 minutes before answering it. It is awful being a patient there. I went for rehab and that’s the was good. Certain nurses were very good as well as the CNAs. Far and few between. I was supposed to be set up with at home rehab but nope did not happen. Please choose this as your last place to go go rehab. The nurse comes recruiting you from hospital tells you all these wonderful things about it. They are not telling the truth!

Where to begin??? Not enough staff - the staff that is there will be wonderful and attentive while you are there - then once you leave forget it! My grandmother was left on a bedpan for hours! bed soars that are gaping holes! There is no excuse for how my grandmother was treated there! The PCA we have now could not believe how bad the bed soars and holes from the bedpan are on my grandmother. The "social-worker" what a joke doesn't return calls or emails, DO NOT PUT ANYONE IN HERE!!! Disgustingly dirty - I could go on and on but its so frustrating to even think about it. Do your research and go anywhere else!

My father was at Mont Marie for rehab. Their nurses were fabulous and overworked. I think there weren't enough of them, although it was COVID. I was only inside once, but the nurses were wonderful. Every time I spoke to them on the phone, they were just overworked. The administration and the social worker were noncommunicative. My father arrived there and I didn't even get a phone call; I had to call them. Just the communication was terrible. I think the food was fine; my father never complained. There were activities, and he painted a trivet. The care he got was very good; it's the communication that was very bad. I loved the care, but I didn't like the communication. The building itself was mediocre. It's a shared bathroom for two rooms with two people in each room, but everything was clean.
