Autumn Lake Healthcare at Cherry Lane

We went to see Autumn Lake Healthcare at Cherry Lane, it's a nursing home in Laurel. It was a very big facility so they had 300 people with different levels of care. They have medical personnel on-site, doctors and nurses, who visit the patients on a regular basis. They take temperatures, and blood pressure daily, sometimes even multiple times a day. They do medication supervision so that each person gets the proper amount of medication. They have nurses who change the bed and change the client's clothes. They do a lot more for the clients. The food is given on a regular basis at 8:00 am, 12:00 noon, and 5:00 pm. It's well-run. They have a good recreation program Monday through Friday. The facility is clean too. They also take the clients to different places.

I am currently at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Cherry Lane for rehabilitation. It's been really good and I have very few issues. They're very intuitive and professional. So, everything's working out OK. The food is pretty good, especially lunch and dinner. They have different activities here. They play trivia games, they have music therapy, and they do a thing about current events. They have transportation to doctors' appointments. All the different members of the staff have come to check on me to see how I'm doing. The management is constantly trying to make sure that everything is going OK for me, and I like that.

I thought Autumn Lake Healthcare at Cherry Lane had a pretty good view. The staff was pretty good and they were pretty good with their activities too. They had movie nights, they would get together and do different activities with the residents. My mom's room had a homey setting, she was in there with another lady and they each had their things. There was enough room so it's comfortable. The dining area was a restaurant type of setting. She had physical therapy and it's a good facility for that. They take care of their patients in terms of the care that they need.
