Our Mom Mary was a patient at this facility for rehabilitation and we meant a few very pleasant workers. They seemed very busy but the young lady working the door that evening was very helpful. She provided much information that put our mind at ease and even escorted us to our destination. We wanted to thank her when we came back that week but found out it wasn’t her normal position she was actually a staffing coordinator named Ms Marquita. Thank you young lady for being kind and compassionate we appreciate all your help.

I came into Elkton Rehab unable to walk or stand up! I was in a bad place mentally & physically! Since I been here the Physical Therapy Department here has got me strong, stable balanced and back on my feet walking! The entire team is great Big John, Eli, Malissa, Nicole, everyone in that Department! The nurses has helped me address my other medical issues which are fine now! As I said before, your never gonna find nothing 100% perfect, no matter where you go, and every where has issues but I am pleased overall with the care I received at this facility and would recommend it to my family. My room is big roomy & clean, I interact with the staff, the activities are fun ran by Keith the head of Activity Dept.

My uncle was placed in a very clean single room. He was greeted by a number of very caring staff. One young lady in particular from office staff immediately engaged in my uncles care and addressed issues we had to accommodate his needs. She sat and talked with my Uncle because she noticed an uncomfortable look as he was being dropped off at the facility. She had a Spanish name from staffing personnel named Rodriguez. She showed so much compassion before she went to the office. I want to say thank you for you kind words and dedication to making him feel welcomed. This to me stood out as a great start with just a small caring jesture.

My father is in Elkton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center because he could no longer live alone and had a stroke. They keep you abreast of how your loved one's condition is and what options you have for their care. They are very accommodating. My father is very demanding and they do a very good job of dealing with his demands. He has a feeding tube; he doesn't eat food. The activities are very nice. When I go there, the activity room is very well supplied and it always looks nice and they always decorate for whatever holiday that it is there. They had it decorated for Christmas and Valentine's Day. They have an excellent area for the patients to be outside. The cafeteria is very large and they offer on-the-spot COVID testing. It's a little bit on the high side as far as pricing is concerned.

Elkton Care and Rehabilitation Center has so far been doing a great job with my father. They're doing rehab with him every day and he seems to be doing a little better. The place seems pretty clean and nice. I've only met two nurses who seem to be very good with my dad.

Don't put your loved one here

I have a family member here and have visited several times. They are HORRIBLE and enormously understaffed!! Most times residents wait an hour to get an aid to help. It stinks and needs so much work. Twice in the last four days no tray of food was delivered and the food is terrible.
