Reflection Living Wichita - Pearl House

We went to see Reflection Living Maize Court in Wichita. We looked at their memory care because my husband has dementia and Alzheimer's. The staff was very friendly during my visit. The person cooking the meal was right there saying hi. The lady who took us around was nice and very informative. My husband had to go to the bathroom while we were there, and they accommodated us with a restroom and a urinal. They were just more than happy to help, showed us the safe place where they keep their medications and it was just a nice, quiet place. They were a little bit more expensive than what I wanted to pay but it's a nice place. When we walked in, there was a little kitchen and they were preparing lunch for the people there. Across the big room, it was very open, the residents were sitting there watching TV or just walking around, those who were ambulatory. Some were just sitting and relaxing. It smelled good too. It was not perfumey, but there was no odor, so I liked that. The room we saw was clean. It had just been cleaned from the person who had just left. It seemed like there would be a lot going on too. There was a backyard that had bird feeders, and it looked out on a bunch of trees there. It was quiet and tucked in a busy, medical area because there are also other assisted living places in the area. There was a lot going on the outside, but it was quiet inside.
