Our tour at Quartet Senior Living was a good experience. I loved the place, but I need three cooked meals a day, which they did not have. You only get one in your rent, so you have to pay for each meal extra. Also, they won't bring it up to your room. You have to go down to the dining area. I met the receptionist and Amy, who was the person that gave me the tour. She was very, very nice and very helpful. The room was beautiful, but it was way too big for people that are in wheelchairs. They showed me a handicapped place, which was nice, but it was huge. We needed a studio, and they didn't have any available. They had a beauty shop, and I saw people playing some games in the lobby. I loved the big refrigerator. Most of these places just had those little tiny refrigerators. I liked that they had the full size one, and that the microwave was down low, so you could reach it.

I moved into Quartet Senior Living. My experience has been exceptional. My apartment is brand new, and it's all stainless steel appliances. I don't have a washer and dryer in my unit, but just down the hall is a triple stacked system. My bathroom has a walk-in shower, and it has plenty of safety bars. I have a walk-in closet. I have windows in the bedroom and in the living room, and they look out into the woods. Everything about this place is beautiful. The hallways have really neat pictures. The food is out of this world. Everything is set up so well. The staff is just exceptional. There's always someone there to take care of things if you need something, and I'm very satisfied. Down the hall from me is an exercise room with treadmills and bikes, and they have a lady that's responsible for the exercise activities about three or four times a week. But they've got the other machines open 24 hours a day for you to use. They have an area where this lady comes in and you can paint different pictures or do pottery. They take us out to go to a theater if we want to see a certain movie. Otherwise, we have our own theater right here with reclining seats. We also have church services here for five different religions. Outside this place is nothing but patios and walkways to exercise out there also. The dining area is beautiful and well taken care of. You can also go outside and order food on the patio if you want to. We have a bistro where you can get a pizza or a hamburger if you don't want to eat too much.

I went to Quartet Senior Living. I liked the apartment I saw and the size of it. The dining area was good. I just didn't like the fact that they didn't offer snacks and drinks during the day. They are new. They just opened in the Fall. What I liked least was that it was higher priced than the others. It was beautiful. The staff was friendly. They brought in the nurses. I talked to them, and they tried to explain their point system for their services. They went out of their way to try to explain things I was concerned about.

The staff members were all very friendly and very honest about how they compared Quartet Senior Living to other places they had worked in the past. It is very new. They said it's like the next generation of senior care. It's like everything is top of the line. They have lots of independent things for seniors, so they don't feel like they're at a nursing home or whatever. They had a little cafeteria bistro where you could just order coffee and sit and talk. It didn't feel like a normal senior place. It felt very modern. Everything was new, very modern, and had very good lighting. There were lots of entertainment things like they had a pool table, they had an area where could just read books or hang out with other people, and lots of big, tall windows. The dining area was more like a restaurant. They have a bigger parking lot. I believe they had a foosball table also. Across from there, they have like a gym almost where you can lift medicine balls or do arm exercises. It was more geared toward seniors, but it looked like they had classes in there where someone would instruct them on what to do. They were all friendly and everybody was approachable. It's all set up for assisted living, but they said they wouldn't come into your room and do stuff unless you qualified medically or unless you needed it.

I went to look at Quartet Senior Living. We liked the fact that their care was ala carte. You could pick and choose different things you felt your parents would need. This was high on our list. It's a very nice place. The staff members were nice and friendly, answered questions, and followed up. The facility was beautiful. The grounds were nice. It was all brand new. The rooms were very new. There was a lot of natural light in the rooms. There were also a lot of areas for people to go and do different activities. They have big rooms and are very modern.

This is a beautiful facility that just opened in August. We visited several other facilities for memory care and this place stood out! Without a doubt we knew this was the place for mom. Fortunately we were able to move her into memory care within 2 weeks. The caregivers, dining staff, and front desk are smiling and helpful. We have eaten several meals here with mom over the past 5 days. The food is served restaurant style with plenty of choices. The serving sizes are quite large so we’ve learned to order half plates in order to not waste food. There are planned activities available that will engage mom, from painting to exercise, games and music. The rooms are good sized, high ceilings throughout complex and beautiful artwork and decor. It’s very enjoyable to spend time here with mom. They have several outdoor areas for assisted living, a courtyard for memory care. Many amenities such as barber and beauty shop, a bistro for grab and go drinks and sandwiches and sweets. Way too many things for me to go into detail, check it out for yourself!
