Kokomo Place was the one that I spent the most time with because the staff was trying to help me get in there. There was a federal subsidy that I could get and then I'd be able to move in, but it didn't happen. It was OK. I could see myself being there. I was a little bit younger than most of the people I saw there. It was nice. I liked the rooms. I loved the place. They had a center garden that was just beautiful. The lady in charge that I spoke with was very nice and very helpful. All the food prepared was homemade. It was nice, but I couldn't afford it. The rooms were nice. They had the garden area in the center that was enclosed. It had beautiful flowers. It was very well maintained. The outside was beautiful, too. Where it was located, though, it's not like you could just get up and take a walk outside. There was no place to go because it was just streets and sidewalks. The lady in charge told me the food was all homemade, so that was encouraging. If they had a little more room where a person could walk around and stuff, it would have been nice, but it was a nice building and it's clean.

My friend absolutely loved it. We had a very friendly and good tour. The employees were extremely nice, and he thought that place would be nirvana. There were a lot of available activities. The thing I liked about it was there were more men at this facility than I've seen at other places. They also have a courtyard, an area where they play cards together, and a living room area. It's a very welcoming facility.
