St. Charles Health Campus was very nice. I think it would be very desirable to be there. It's not quite as expensive and they have a library, one complimentary meal a day, and a washer and dryer in their apartment. Their apartments seemed a little more spacious, too. My husband was in the nursing home there for a little while. Their food was pretty good and their dining area looked like a nice restaurant. It's in great shape and it's an inviting facility. They keep the grounds real nice. I liked the staff. They're friendly and I think they did everything they could for my husband.

I will be moving into St. Charles Health Campus. I chose them because it has a continuum of care. It is resident oriented. The people seemed to want to be there: both the residents and the staff. The food is not included, but they do have a very reasonable meal plan. I haven't moved in yet, but there are a lot of activities based on the schedules I saw. There are a wide variety. What impressed me most was volunteers from the community come in to visit, work, and socialize with the residents. They have three courtyards. They have bus transportation. There are beautiful grounds to walk with benches, strolling paths, and sidewalks. There are well-manicured lawns with trees, shrubs, and flowers. They have many conversation groups within the building, where you can gather, talk, watch TV, read a book, or play games. They have snack stations, where you can get a snack 24-hours a day. There are 24-hour nurses or medical staff.

We had just recently visited St. Charles Health Campus. They seemed to be well staffed. It's a little bit larger facility, and they had all different levels of care from skilled nursing to assisted living and all that. It's not as well updated as the other facility. I don't think the rooms were lit up or as bright and cheerful as they could have been. As far as rooms, they have private rooms and shared rooms. Their staff were friendly. They had a nice dining area. Their rooms were small, but they were fine.

Not enough staff to care for the patients adequately.

We are moving into St. Charles Health Campus, and it's very good. The staff is very attentive, and what we expected. All the utilities are included with the exception of the internet. You can buy your meals at $2.50 per meal, and the villas are beautiful. We've eaten there twice, and the food is decent, very hearty at lunch, and a bit lighter at dinner. It's well run, but they don't have as many activities.

One of my mom's brothers is in St. Charles Health Campus. It's really close to where I'm at right now. It's a nice and clean place. The staff members are all friendly. He is in the wheelchair and all the staff is nice.

St. Charles Health Campus is wonderful. I live in the independent living in a villa that has a living room, a kitchen, two bedrooms, two baths, and a garage. The staff people are very nice, and the food is very good. The people who live in the villas have a separate clubhouse where we eat lunch together and have various outings, games to play, people coming in to do music, and a lot of stuff going on. They have church groups come in to provide church or communion. It’s an all-inclusive thing, so they provide the cable TV, clean every two weeks, do all the maintenance, and take care of the electric and water bills. Everything’s included, like discounted food.

Before my dad passed away, he was at St. Charles Health Campus for about a year. They were adequate for what he needed. The aides and the nurses seem to treat my dad really well. Their dining area was nice. It was like a restaurant style the way it was setup, but he didn’t like the food because they serve too much of the wrong thing. For their activities, they had things were they would do either take them out to restaurant once in a while or have people or animals come in. They would also play with a beach ball or balloon to help with the century perception as well as coordination. They also have interactions in a group setting and individuals.
