"My sister moved into Wellington Parc of Owensboro. I have no issues with them at all. They were good to her. They did an excellent job. They're very thorough, very friendly, and polite. It was a nice place. It kind of sits upon a ridge or a hill-like. The drive was about five hundred feet, I guess, from the highway. It was really quiet there and peaceful. Most facilities have their meals catered, but they make their own meals, and she loves their food. I talked to her when they were in the activity room, and she liked it."

"I stayed at Hermitage Care and Rehabilitation Center in Owensboro for 6 weeks and it was wonderful. The staff was wonderful, too, and the food was well-seasoned. I was in a private room and it was very nice. One time, I had to be in an air mattress and it got messed up but the maintenance was there to make sure I got another one quickly. It's also clean, with no bad smells, and no trash. I don't have a bad thing to say about that place."

"We toured Woodmont Health Campus. The staff was definitely the thing I like the best. The thing I like the least is that it was a bigger facility. I like the small facility. The staff had a lot of responsibilities, so they were managing quite a lot. The food was amazing. There was variety, quality, and nutritive value. The facilities are well-maintained and spacious. They have tons of activities that go on. The activities director is constantly working to bring new things in and make it exciting for the residents."

"We chose Transcendent Healthcare of Boonville North for my cousin because they were small and independent. They meet my cousin's needs and have very generous visitations, so I can stay there as long as I want. They have multiple options for meals every day. Anything I want to bring in is fine. They modify the rooms to better meet the needs during rehab. They have been very accommodating, professional, and friendly. The food is good but not amazing. I go and visit every day. They have live musicians that come in at least twice a week. They have games in the community room like bingo, cards, just community wide games. My cousin doesn't participate, but they also have dancing, which is pretty hysterical. I don't know if that's every week, but they've had it in the week we've been there. They have good activities, but they're just not things that I'd be really excited about. Anything that needs repair gets repaired that same day, so they have a great maintenance staff. It costs, but it's not exorbitant."

"The staff at Village at Hamilton Pointe was by and large very pleasant and provided very good care. My mother was there on two occasions for physical therapy. I like the quality of the staff. They had very good physical therapy. The food was pretty good there. They had nice facilities and it's well located. She was getting a lot of physical therapy about as much as she could handle. They had a couple of large areas that were accessible by residents or by patients. She was in a single room. It was very spacious and it had all that she needed for a short stay. Her stay there was covered by Medicaid and Medicare, so there was no out-of-pocket expense. She was there two different times. The first time she was there were four weeks and then she was readmitted two weeks later for another four weeks."

"Woodlands Care Center was clean. My father-in-law got plenty of attention. There were lots of folks around popping in and checking on him now and again. He had three different therapists who were working with him on different rehab activities for swallowing, walking, and occupational therapy. The facility was busy. They had a lot of patients, but the staff seemed very adequate. On the downside, they have a lot of equipment that they keep in the hallways. The hallways were plenty wide enough to accommodate it, but a lot is going on in the hallways between the equipment and the people coming out of their rooms for observation like the area near the nursing stand. When they're eating a meal, the residents are somewhat supervised because they have a swallowing issue like my father-in-law did, so plenty is going on in the hallways. The staff was very friendly and very helpful though. He was on a soft foods diet and he ate all his meals there, which isn't always the case at home."
