"My mom is in Oasis Dementia Care. It is wonderful, small and intimate. The ratio of caregivers to residents is very low. So far we are pleased. The rooms are beautiful. The facility just recently opened in January. Everything is clean and nice with soothing colors. They have activities like exercise and puzzles. They have a game room, a TV room and a large area meeting room. The security is excellent. "

"Evansville Protestant Home is a well-kept facility. It's older, but it's clean. It has a nice dining room, and the food was good and nutritious. The game room and exercise area are good, and the staff is professional and accommodating. "

"River Pointe was great. The only thing was that they don't want to accept VA down there. However, the staff was very nice. The way everything was set up was gorgeous. That would be best spot for dad, and he even said he would like to go there. They had three different sizes of rooms. They were adequate for what would be needed. "

"My relative has been in the Silver Birch of Evansville since December and we're satisfied with them. It's a nice place and the staff is very good. He's got a one-bedroom and someone comes in, cleans up every day, and does everything like washing dishes. They prepared his meals, and they got a washer and dryer on the floor, a theater room, a pool room, and everything really, so he's very happy with it. The facility has only been built for about two years. It's practically new and they're not only located in Evansville but around the state of Indiana. They have a van that takes them to doctor's appointments, and they have an RN and a case manager on staff, so I'm pleased with that. He says the food is really good and they eat three times a day, but since we've been into COVID, they've been fixing their breakfast, lunch, and dinner into their rooms in styrofoam plates. You can't just walk in there, you need to have your temperature checked and all of that. They have a nice little garden area, an exercise room, and they do crafts."

"Riverwalk Communities is great. I'd recommend it. The staff is very caring and the food is great. Everybody's polite and helpful. We have bingo, church, and music bands playing. I love it here."

"Brookdale Evansville (formerly Sterling House of Evansville) was clean and orderly. They had more indoor activities like cards, exercises, board games, and talks. It was good. It had an on-staff nursing facility. They answered a lot of my questions about the care of an elderly parent. "

"The staff at Holiday Village was very nice. They had different kinds of apartments. They had two bedrooms and one bedroom. The food was always very good. The dining room was very nice with white tablecloths, and no one was in there in a wheel chair. They took them in there, put them in, and took the wheelchair away and it looked just like a nice dining room. They had all different activities. They had parties for them and they would come down. The big room that they had was very inviting. It was just a beautiful place. "

"My mom stayed at The Homeplace of Henderson. I would highly recommend them. I was very, very pleased. It's an excellent place. The facility was exceptional, very clean, and well-run. They had exceptional management. The food was very good. My mom was quite happy with the place. The activities seemed to be pretty good."

"I really enjoyed visiting my grandmother here. She was really happy with her stay here as well. The staff was all very friendly and respectful. I trusted their ability to care for my grandmother in a way that I would if I were able to at the time. She loved being there as well. The facility was really nice as well. "

"We toured Woodmont Health Campus. The staff was definitely the thing I like the best. The thing I like the least is that it was a bigger facility. I like the small facility. The staff had a lot of responsibilities, so they were managing quite a lot. The food was amazing. There was variety, quality, and nutritive value. The facilities are well-maintained and spacious. They have tons of activities that go on. The activities director is constantly working to bring new things in and make it exciting for the residents."

"My mom was in one of the wings in Redbanks, and she loved it. I didn't have any issues with any of the staff there and my mom really enjoyed all of the staff. She became friends with the nurses and liked the food. I haven't had any complaints and she didn’t have any complaints. I think the staff is friendly and definitely something worth checking out. My mom would not be upset if she had to go back there. They have a lot of activities going on, and there's always someone she could talk to. She liked all of her therapists, and all the nurses and staff are very nice. "

"This assisted living facility is of good quality. The grounds are nice with a walking path that my grandfather uses frequently. His room, although not too spacious is big enough to hold his queen sized bed and has a small living area which holds his lift chair a loveseat, and a TV. Across from this area is a kitchenette which has a small sink, cabinet space, and a medium sized refrigerator. The room is always clean and free of dust or soap scum in the bathroom. Staff is friendly and not too intrusive. His laundry is done well and to his liking. The food is very good by his opinion and he eats almost all meals served. Overall my grandfather is very happy living at Colonial Assisted Living and I am happy knowing that he is safe and is getting his medications on time. He can have his independence with support. "

"Colonial Senior Living is very nice and new. It has been open for two years now. The staff members are most accommodating and very kind. The food is magnificent. It is home-cooking; it is excellent. I have a 2-bedroom where I have one big bathroom and a patio. Our breakfast is served from 7 to 9 a.m., lunch is served from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and evening dinner is 5 to 7 p.m. We have exercises, Bible studies, bingo, and cooking activity. A girl comes around in a van and she brings us books from the library. She comes every week. She finds out what you like and provides books of your selection. Once a month we go out and have dinner some place, and they provide transportation for us."

"I think that all the people that work at West River Health Campus are wonderful. All the ones I've encountered are very kind and very helpful. They have a huge calendar of activities and mom has been playing bingo there. There's also a room where they can go and do puzzles or make arts and crafts stuff. There's lots of options. Mom's room is nice. It's completely furnished if you need it to be. It's got a twin bed, a TV cabinet, a little kitchenette with a microwave, a refrigerator (like a little mini dorm-size refrigerator), and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. There's lots of drawer space and closet space as well. We were able to move her bed in and then her recliner and there was plenty of room."
