We chose Transcendent Healthcare of Boonville North for my cousin because they were small and independent. They meet my cousin's needs and have very generous visitations, so I can stay there as long as I want. They have multiple options for meals every day. Anything I want to bring in is fine. They modify the rooms to better meet the needs during rehab. They have been very accommodating, professional, and friendly. The food is good but not amazing. I go and visit every day. They have live musicians that come in at least twice a week. They have games in the community room like bingo, cards, just community wide games. My cousin doesn't participate, but they also have dancing, which is pretty hysterical. I don't know if that's every week, but they've had it in the week we've been there. They have good activities, but they're just not things that I'd be really excited about. Anything that needs repair gets repaired that same day, so they have a great maintenance staff. It costs, but it's not exorbitant.

We chose Transendence Healthcare North because of the family friendly atmosphere and the staff was amazing when we first went. Then they completely change administration It was not a good situation. All or most of the cna’s are different turnover is high. Within 6 months or less. That administration team was let go or left. Now they have a new executive director. Whom is also a compliance officer. She kicked my double amputee brother who has ankolysing spondylitis out of the nursing home because he was scared and mouthy about his care. They left him lay in bed overnight with an incision that was healed for months burst open due to an infection and bone spurs. He laid in bed all night with that bleeding till I got there the next morning and had to make them call an ambulance. He had 2 surgeries. I’m not going to lie he cussed a lot after that and did not trust the staff. He got another infection and ended up back in the hospital one or two more times with 2 to 4 more surgeries. He don’t. Like to take pharmaceuticals he would rather do all natural remedies, and this has proven that it works. He was diabetic but no longer is. Due to take a spice. They put him down as non compliant because he refused drugs. So he could not transfer out of that nursing home. The documents does not explain why he did not want to take them. He also cannot get out of bed he is a lift. There is so much I could say about this place. The owner will not talk to us. His second in command is ignoring us. His new Executive Director. Went into my brothers room with another resident not his roommate another one. And a staff and family and started talking to him about him leaving. He did ask for referrals to be sent but he wanted to be closer to family she sent him farther away and did not give him a choice so she kicked him out. I called the owners 2nd in command and she said thank you for letting them handle things and asked if we wanted a meeting with the owner. Then blew me off and the Ed is able to continue to bully people. She went into my brothers room and tried to convince him she ask his permission to talk in front of everyone. Then went back in trying to catch him up on something. He just kept saying mistakes were made and his care with some wasn’t good. Then ask him why his family wouldn’t take him. We are not trained for his needs we don’t have equipment and our homes are not big enough and jobs and health issues. She told my brother he had to leave and no one wanted him in Evansville. The owner thinks this is ok. I would not take anyone there again. They do have some good staff there but the rest…… you can take this for what it is, but if you go there documentation everything. We did!

My mom was on the south building. She didn't get to proper care she needed. Poor meal selections. Nurses will make fun of residents. Also talk to some of them cruelly. The CNAs are lazy. Just sit behind the desk. I xought them sleeping and doing diamond paintings when the reside ts are sleeping. Ignoring the xall lights. If you don't like the meal. You got served sandwiches. I will not bring another family member to this facility
