"My grandmother handled all of the financial aspects of the nursing home so i do not know how expensive this one was compared to others. However, the staff was always very kind and courteous to the family that visited as well as my great grandmother. During the earlier visits my great grandmother still had enough mental capacity to carry on conversations. She never had any complaints regarding how the staff treated her. In fact i think she liked several of the nurses that took care of her. During her later years at the nursing home one of the side effects of the disease caused her to get out of bed and wander. During one of these instances she fell and broke here hip. The staff nursed her as best they could and took very good care of her. After her recovery she developed bed sores because she refused to get up out of bed. The nurses were always gentle and encouraging when treating the bed sores and getting her up to walk. According to my grandmother, my great grandmother always had clean sheets and she never went hungry when she decided it was time for her to eat. "

"I was a resident recently in the Rehab hall for six weeks. I can’t begin to tell you how pleasant my stay was. The home was clean when I moved in and it stayed clean the whole six weeks. Thanks to the cleaning crew!! I can’t say enough for the nurses and CNA’s. The Nurses were professional and kind and ordered meds punctually and were very kind! Thanks to the Nurses (my angels). The CNA’s were always quick to help me when I turned on my light for assistance and checked on me even when I didn’t turn on my light, asking if I needed fresh water, was I comfortable, or did I need anything else. (Also, my angels). The physical and occupational therapist were amazing. They were very professional and were able to get me rehabbed in the 6 weeks that I was there. They had compassion but didn’t baby me so that I could reach my goal. ( more angels)! The meals were served promptly and the food was well balanced and prepare well. They would accommodate me if I wanted something different to eat. (Again, more angels). In fact, the whole staff was polite and friendly. I loved the activities provided to make the time pass. The people that supervised the activities provided fun and were so sweet. ( more angels). I know this is long but the reason is that I didn’t think I wanted to be in a nursing home. I was wrong! This is a great place to be and I made so many friends. I recommend this facility 100 percent!!"

"We toured Woodmont Health Campus. The staff was definitely the thing I like the best. The thing I like the least is that it was a bigger facility. I like the small facility. The staff had a lot of responsibilities, so they were managing quite a lot. The food was amazing. There was variety, quality, and nutritive value. The facilities are well-maintained and spacious. They have tons of activities that go on. The activities director is constantly working to bring new things in and make it exciting for the residents."

"We chose Transcendent Healthcare of Boonville North for my cousin because they were small and independent. They meet my cousin's needs and have very generous visitations, so I can stay there as long as I want. They have multiple options for meals every day. Anything I want to bring in is fine. They modify the rooms to better meet the needs during rehab. They have been very accommodating, professional, and friendly. The food is good but not amazing. I go and visit every day. They have live musicians that come in at least twice a week. They have games in the community room like bingo, cards, just community wide games. My cousin doesn't participate, but they also have dancing, which is pretty hysterical. I don't know if that's every week, but they've had it in the week we've been there. They have good activities, but they're just not things that I'd be really excited about. Anything that needs repair gets repaired that same day, so they have a great maintenance staff. It costs, but it's not exorbitant."
