My dad just moved into River Pointe, and I think it's nice and convenient. It seems to be clean and homey. The staff seems nice and efficient. He will need physical therapy, but they haven't started yet. They have a beauty parlor.

My Mom was recently there about 7 days after leaving the hospital to transition back home. It is very nice and doesn’t smell like a nursing home. The rooms are nice. I am lucky that I had her caregivers there during the day to help her. At night, no one would answer the call light. I heard with on own ears someone yell at while I was on the phone with her. ( yes, I did report it) She was left in pee or if they did come and change her, they left her sheets wet. The phones to the place didn’t work the whole time. Luckily, she had her cell phone. If we hadn’t had her caregivers there to help her during the day who knows how the response would be if she was completely on her own.

I would never recommend this place to anyone some of people were very nice but most of them were rude didn't have time to answer questions and seemed disgusted when my sister needed help and at one point my sister said she was handled roughly and talk to in a mean way caution on this place

River Pointe had medical staff all the time; it was more of an assisted living and would have been more expensive for my mom's needs. The rooms were nice, and each unit had their own dining facility, so you probably get to know your neighbors a little bit better. The price wasn't what we're looking for. They had physical therapy within the building, and they had a really nice garden area and courtyard.

River Pointe was great. The only thing was that they don't want to accept VA down there. However, the staff was very nice. The way everything was set up was gorgeous. That would be best spot for dad, and he even said he would like to go there. They had three different sizes of rooms. They were adequate for what would be needed.

River Pointe is more like independent living. Their apartments have their outside entrances. Residents have their own cars and things like that. The facility is overall nice. I probably would recommend it to others. It is just not for my half-sister. It is also expensive.
