"We will be moving into Morada Temple. They have a geriatrics clinic for seniors with a doctor that comes two days a week. And then they have a nurse and sometimes a nurse practitioner that are there Monday and Wednesday from 8 to 12. They serve three meals a day, which is good eating. They come in every week and change your bed linen. They wash the sheets and remake the bed for you. And then every two weeks, they come in and vacuum the carpet. We have two bedrooms with carpet, and that's all included in the price, so there are a lot of pluses, not just getting the rooms, which are nice apartments. Most of the apartments have balconies that you can go out on and sit on. They have a refrigerator with a top freezer and an icemaker, a full-sized electric stove with a big oven, a dishwasher, a garbage disposal, and a tremendously large closet for storing food and supplies. The staff was very efficient and patient. She was not trying to push something but allowed me to make my own choice and was happy to work with me. After discussing it with my wife, I called her and told her what I wanted. She said, "Well, I can meet you tomorrow morning or tomorrow afternoon, and we can take care of that,", which was a very friendly, non-pressure type of relationship. They've got a courtyard in between. They also have a nursing home and physical therapy. If, for one reason or another, a person is unable to stay in their room for some time, they have this other facility where they can go and be nursed back to better health. It's a good and very friendly community of people who live there."

"Garden Estates was a very, very nice facility, very clean and the staff was very helpful. Their in-house nurse did a little evaluation, and that's how I knew that mom needed a memory facility. It was not a memory facility, although it has locked front doors. The staff was very helpful and it was a very clean place. It seemed to be very modern and nice. We were just real impressed with it. It's just it wasn't a good fit for my mother. "

"My mom moved to Villas at Robinett. They have a class every week. They've got a whole bunch of activities for the citizens like dancing, crafts, bingo, movie night, and luncheons. They got all kinds of stuff that would keep them active. Each apartment has its own washer and dryer, so they don't have to leave their apartment to do the laundry. It's very spacious, it has separate tubs and a separate shower. They're nice-looking apartments. It takes care of its residents. During the summer, they got water aerobics. They keep them out. They keep them active and healthy. The staff is very helpful. My mom said the food was good. It's a good-sized apartment. It's got a living room, a little dining area, and a full-size bedroom. It's a little expensive, but it is based on income. You have to use their internet and whatnot, and you can't choose your own, and that can be expensive."
