"My parents are both in here and my family could not be happier! They have treated my dying mother with so much dignity & also my father who has dementia, with kindness & dignity. They love it there. They have even asked my mother what they could do to improve their service. Right now I can't think of anything. I'm just trying to enjoy my mom's last few days on this earth before she joins het holy saviour, God. "

"Park Vista of Youngstown was awesome. All the amenities that they have were excellent. It's very well kept and it's very nice around the entire place. I love it. I just hope my dad loves it. The person took me around everything. Everything was so nice and clean. The staff said that if dad wants to move into one of the places, then it'll be repainted. The one we saw was already repainted and recarpeted, and I liked the place. They're very friendly and helpful. They gave me lots of information and they gave me the folder. They said that if they had to, they would work with my dad on the price also. I think the menu was awesome, and I think my dad's gonna like it also. He's a chef though, so he's probably going to want to cook for himself a lot of times. They were getting ready for a pizza party or something like that when we were there. The rooms were pretty spacious for one person."

"We've placed my aunt in Sycamore Place. It was very clean and very inviting, and the management is very professional. They were very helpful. I met the manager and she was very informative, showed me around, and was very personable. She went above and beyond to help us get in earlier than we anticipated. The rooms were all set up the same. It's not overly spacious, but spacious enough for comfortable senior living. The air quality was good, the rooms were clean, and it was just a nice environment. They have public transportation aside from activities."

"My sister moved to St. Paul's Senior Living Community. The staff is excellent. They are very attentive and the ratio of staff to patients is very good. The memory care facility has only ten patients in it right now, and they typically have between three or four nurses on staff. They have an excellent kitchen right on the floor just down the hall from the patient room. The food is very good. The kitchen staff is very attentive. They help patients get the food and help service them if they want. If they are not able to go to the dining area, they'll bring the food to the room. They encourage all the patients to go to join them for the activities. They don't force them to go but they strongly encourage them to go out and be with other people. They play games and puzzles. The facility is extremely clean and very well-kept. The grounds are very large and have lots of greenery."

"Our friend's mom lives in Shepherd of the Valley - Howland. Everything's new. The houses were very clean and she said she doesn't have to worry about trash or snow removal or grass, that it's all taken care of, and I like that. She plays bridge with a couple of the girls there; they always get together and do stuff. She's very active and she does a couple of the activities there. She seems to enjoy it. Everybody there seems very helpful, and she has no complaints whenever we see her."

"My Uncle was at Southpoint Personal care in New Castle and I can't say enough good things about the place and the people who took care of him. At first it was a hard transition for him, but he made friends with the others and really enjoyed all of the activities that the had. The place was always neat and clean. "

"Shepherd of the Valley - Poland was very nice. They had about 50 to 60 independent units behind their big building, which were like one-story duplexes that range from 805 square feet to 900 square feet. They're all two bedrooms and looked pretty nice. It's a nice little community. Every unit has a washer-dryer, refrigerator, stove, and one car garage. You can go into the main building and eat if you want to, but it's not included in your plan. If you can't go get your meal, because you're either not healthy or can't go, they'll charge you $1 to come and deliver it to you. The staff was very nice and very good. They had excellent landscaping and it was kept up well."

"The place was the nicest home I've been in. Doesn't smell like peeothers said. Activities dailyand church available if you need it. Staff was excellent. Became friends with two great cna"s. If you rang the bell they came right away.breakfast need to change.. I was there for rehab.jeremy and pt. staff never gave up on me.love all of you.wish my insurance would let me stay longer for rehab."

"Adams Place was a wonderful place, but I don't qualify financially. I'm over their limit. It's a really nice community. It's not an over 55 place. Most of the residents were seniors. What I liked about this place was those seniors are retired, and aren't working, and many of them were gathered in a community room downstairsall talking and seemed to be having a nice time. The amenities were totally different. There's no swimming pool, there's no sauna, but they have a greenhouse and raised beds. This is formed community and most of those people there are farmers' wives, so they can still do their planting and their gardening. They have a room filled with all canning supplies. They have a small workout room where you can go and get on a treadmill. It's right in the heart of town, and it's walkable to a grocery store. The staff were very friendly, nice people. There was only one room that was empty and that I got to see. It was clean and it looked brand new. The carpets were clean. Everything about it was clean and sparkling."
