I don't really care for Capitol Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. My friend's room was fairly spacious but it was far from being clean, it was kinda dirty. They could improve on cleanliness and if there's something they can do with the smell. I met just a few of the staff there, some of them didn't seem like they really care for their jobs. They could also improve on some of their help because they weren't doing their jobs. When you first walk in it feels homey, but once you get in there and get to the care part, it feels like an institution.

I tried to get my husband in Capitol, and I also have a nephew that is in rehab there after surgery. Their rooms look small. Other than that, everything is OK. The dining area seems pretty decent and spacious. When I was there last time, they were playing bingo.

My aunt is at Capitol Care Center now. It's changed hands a couple of times over the years. They can't go hire anybody and they can't get staff. They have a problem with understaffing and administration just had a lack of caring. They're more worried about budget. I wouldn't put a family member there.
