I toured Sandwich Rehabilitation & HCC. They accept Medicaid. They have memory care as well as nursing care. The staff was great. The building was fine. The cleanliness was perfect. It's small, so it has a good atmosphere. They're friendly. The size of the room and the layout is pretty standard.

This facility is filthy, understaffed with I’ll equipped management. My mother has ALZ and was left unattended and unclean. We were not ID’d or questioned when we arrived to remove her due to neglect. Shower, room, storage rooms and others were wide open, any person could have been injured. This is advertised as memory care. It absolutely is not and should be closed.

My mother has been getting some rehab in Sandwich Rehab helping her walk. She uses a walker, and they follow behind her every day. The place is very scheduled. They eat breakfast, lunch, and supper at the same time altogether. She likes the staff there. They are nice and friendly. The only objection she has is they get them up so early in the morning. There are a lot of people there, and she has to sit and wait for a long time to get breakfast.

This facility located in the surburban part of Illinois was very impressive in appearence., The staff was very personal and friendly with myself, and provided me with all the information I needed at the time of my visit. The residents are allowwd to smoke with staff supervision. Meals are served on trays, with resident's choices in most cases. There is no on-site dialysis services, and the facility does provide services to skilled level care. The rooms are mid-sized with two sharing to a room. The grounds are well-kept, and there are numerous activities. groups going on thru out the day for the residents to participate in through out the week. The quality of care appeared well-managed, I would rank this facility a 5 out of 5 stars.
