South Shore Senior Living located at 13820 S. Utica in Robbins, IL is an Assisted Living Center for seniors who are able to live independently with little to no assistance, though nursing care staff is onsite and available 24/7.My grandfather has been a resident in this facility for approximately 5 years. It was fairly new and under different management when he first arrived and though a change in management took place, the facility remains a pillar in the community.This facility, previously known as Robbins Assisted Living Center, is bright, cheery and pleasant smelling. The residents appear well looked after and the majority of the staff friendly, concerned and courteous. The meals are prepared fresh and the overall atmosphere exudes concern for its residents.Unfortunately, the facility is not able to provide services for those with existing health issues that require extended care and management. They do have onsite 24/7 nursing staff, but cannot provide therapy and other serious care services as would a nursing home.The pricing is at the median level for assisted living centers in Illinois and they do provide a monthly stipend to their residents.
