This place has room for major improvements. The only good review I have read is 4 years old. My mother died there as a result from falling out of bed with claims that her bed railing was up. My mother was very sharp and alert at 89years. She was there because of mobility issues. There is no way she could have gotten out of bed if the bed railing was up. I now have another family member there as her doctor recommended more extensive therapy to strengthen. This place is dirty. I have taken food and it is never preserved nor is it thrown away. The conference room where visits are held due to covid has carpet that is extremely dirty. The front entrance has bird nest and filth, dust bunnies behind trash cans in the restroom. With all the restrictions in place during the pandemic, I would think they could have cleaned something. Another visitor of this family member was taken to another enclosed area for a visit. The patient and visitor were locked in, no one came for assistance after several attempts to summon someone, finally assistance came after a cell phone call. I really believe families should be able to have cameras in their loved ones rooms so they can monitor the care. There may be good points at this facility and some good staff, but definitely room for improvements.

My relative has been at Red Bud Nursing Home for a month and a half now, and I think the place is very good. The staff is wonderful. My relative has a regular 2-bed nursing home room, but they are letting him stay there all by himself. He packed his clothes, but they let him do what he wants to do to feel good. The place is very clean. He loves the food, and he gets 3 meals a day. If he wants something else, he can have it. The location of the place is great, and there is like a little tunnel connected to the hospital. I would recommend this place because they provide very good service.
