We toured Charter Senior Living of Pekin. It's a wonderful place and extremely clean. There were several options as far as the available rooms and the different styles on different levels. The dining room and the cafeteria area were nice. The nursing staff there seemed extremely happy and willing to help out with anything that my mom needed. The staff gave us a thorough tour and answered any questions we had. She explained the financial end of it, what's expected of my mom, and what's not expected. She was very helpful.

This is my second experience with CSL my Aunt was a resident for several years and now my mother. One of the many things that drew us here was the different levels of care they provide. My Mother needs a bit more care than a single level of care assisted living facility can provide but wasn’t yet ready for a nursing home. Kim, The Director of Sales and Marketing, made the application process and move in experience as painless as possible. The staff cares about your loved one, the meals are top notch, medical personnel on sight. Many more amenities.

Rooms are lovely and there are options in size. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful to all the residents. The dining area along with the dining staff and chefs are second to none. They provide excellent food and dining, and there is a wide array of activities for all. Our mom resides here and it’s the experience has been amazing.

We toured Charter Senior Living of Pekin. The director was very welcoming, kind of walking us around to all the different areas. They explained how the facility works, about their members, and what they do together. She took us into a couple of residents' rooms so that we could meet some people there and see what their rooms were like. So, she was very helpful in answering questions. All of her staff that happened to be around were very willing to share what they do, being thankful that my mom had come to even look at the facility. They have a beauty salon, a community room, a movie theater, a cafe snack area, a dining room, and an exercise room.

I went to tour and it was very pretty there. It was a very nice, warm feeling, and very clean. I like that it's assisted living because when I went there, there were people there that were my age, and I didn't see anybody that was sick. The staff who toured me around was very friendly. They offered me lunch, and it was very good. I was so surprised by how good it was. They had a gym, they had a salon, there's a courtyard, and then the dining area. They had white tablecloths on the tables. It was very clean.
