I toured Brandon Wood Retirement Center. They were very pleasant, and all the people we met who were walking through the halls and various places were very nice. It was a nice little community-type setting where they had a little area where they had coffee and dessert. They had a big dining area, and you could choose your own menu. They serve a big salad bar area, and you have a choice of drinks for that meal. You were given one meal; otherwise, you could buy two or three meals every day for the whole month, and it was very reasonable. They also had an area where you could sit and watch some finches in a big glass cage. I thought it was very nice, it's just that they had hallways that led to the apartments. They have laundry rooms on each floor. They didn't have laundry facilities in that room, but they had them on each floor you could go to. The size of the room, they started with a smaller one-bedroom that did not have closets, but it was an adequate size. You could have put in your own type of setup for closet space. Then they had a medium, kind of a little larger room than that, and it did have a closet. I think it also had a built-in shelf unit on the wall where you could put stuff. The larger bedroom had two closets. You could use one for casual clothes and the other for dress clothes, which was nice. The bathrooms, some had showers, some had tubs. The large one had a step-in shower, which was great. It was very clean, and they also have housekeeping services that come twice a week to clean the apartment for them. They were constantly keeping up the areas. When someone moves out, they put in a new carpet. The staff who gave the tour was very pleasant and answered all my questions. The facility was great. They do have an elevator, so if you can't climb the stairs, you can use the elevator to get up.

Brandon Wood Retirement Center wouldn't work out. You couldn't even get a walker through their doors. You weren't allowed to have wheelchairs there either, so that's not a good place for me. It was very beautiful, but the doorways to each room were very small. The apartments were fine, but I need a kitchen and they don't have them, and they don't have full-size refrigerators, just mini-fridges. You can fit hardly anything in them. It was clean. We only saw the lady that gave us the tour. She didn't have any information on the price or anything. We would have to call back and get that. You should have been given that right then.

Brandon Wood Retirement Center is spacious. The room was small but adequate. The staff seemed pleasant. They showed me what I wanted to see. The place seemed well kept but it was older.

We went to Brandon Wood Retirement Center. They have quite a few amenities, including a salon and a fitness center. They even have a small storage space for you and are cable-ready. They were a nice little apartment. The manager in the office was our tour guide and she was very informative. She showed us everything there was to see and we appreciated it. They do have a lovely place there. Anybody would be proud to live there. However, it was just a little out of my budget. It was a good address, and easy to find. The parking is outside. It was a good location, close to shops and things of that type.

I toured Brandon Wood Retirement Center. It was small, more than a lot of them. It was clean. Everybody was very friendly. The apartment itself is very nice and has more room than I thought there would be. I haven't tried their food, but I looked at their menus, and it looks yummy. They showed me all of the area, then the amenities. They have laundry. They have a little grocery store. It has a beauty salon and that'll come in handy. It's like a little town within itself. They have a lot of entertainment that comes out. It's just very nice.

We toured Brandon Wood Retirement Center. It was a nice place, well kept, and clean. The staff was real nice. We only saw one room and it was being renovated. They were installing new carpet. We haven't tried the food, but we saw their menu for the week and it looked pretty good. They've got quite a few activities, and they have bands come in and people come in and sing.

Brandon Wood Retirement Center looks like a very nice community. My mom's apartment will have a living room with a mini-kitchen and two really nice big bedrooms, but the biggest thing is that she will have her husband with her, and it's only $400 a month extra for him. It's not a place that you would call modern, but it's very nice, homey looking, and clean. The dining area also looks very nice and they keep it themed. Right now, it's got a fall theme.

Brandon Wood is a retirement apartment community. They prep my mom's meals and she has some care during the day; otherwise, it's an independent apartment. I like there are always people around, and there's always something she could do when she wants to. They have an activity coordinator, who prepares games. They do some exercise classes, movie shows, and baking. They also have a library and a puzzle room. It's an older facility, so it's not like some of the new places that were built with seniors in mind. They find it homey though, and my mom likes her apartment.

Brandon Wood has meals and activities for my in-laws. The facility was very nice and clean. The director and the staff were phenomenal. There were so great, helpful, and kind. They were awesome. However, it is not very handicapped accessible, which my in-laws need. It is an older building, but it is nice. They have a movie theater, an activity room, a salon, a library, a craft room, and a stove that they cook in. They also have an indoor garden, which is really cool. We didn't eat there, but the restaurant looked nice. They have a courtyard and an elevator because it's two stories.

Brandon Wood appeared to be very clean and well maintained. The staff was very pleasant. The director was very nice. They had group activities and exercise classes. They had people come in to entertain and Girl Scouts visited with activities for the residents. They served snacks, which were very good.
