My mother has moved into Cedarhurst of McHenry. She's in memory care. It's a very beautiful place, like a hotel. They seem to be very caring towards their residents. The rooms are nice and big. The staff seems to be attentive to my mom and taking care of her needs. It's big, beautiful, and brand new. It just opened. It still has that new house smell to it. It's pretty good value. Otherwise, I wouldn't be putting my mom there compared to what other options I was looking at. The food is good. There seems to be a lot going on. I saw memory care staff playing with a balloon with them, and they were hitting them with pool noodles, getting them moving around and functioning. They were putting a puzzle together, and they were playing UNO together. I saw five residents and staff. I've observed all of those things.
