We saw the memory care of The Gables of Caldwell Assisted Living and Memory Care. The assisted living and memory care were both together. There was no separate area for the two, and that was one thing that concerned me. Their memory care was also not for advanced memory care. It was for the patients who were basically just diagnosed, so that was another thing. I think that was probably why they had them both together. It was a very small facility. It was a house that they had just converted, and they had, maybe, nine patients. The facility was clean, and the patients looked happy. They had activities for the people who lived there. During the tour, they offered us something to drink since I don't think we were there at the time when they had meals. They have a garden spot outside if the residents want to go outside. Most of the people who lived there had a roommate. The staff members looked like they were competent in what they were doing and took care of the people well. They seemed aware of the people that lived there because there weren't a whole lot of them, to begin with. That was pretty okay. They had an outdoor space, but it was small, so there wasn't a lot of room for the people to just walk and wander. There was a living room area for them to sit and watch TV. There was a dining room for them to eat their meals, a place outside to sit, and then their own rooms.

Annabelle House is in a very nice neighborhood. They have a nice dining area, a lounge area, and a recreational room. You can have a double bed in the studio apartment. They have bingo, music, and puzzles. They also have a very nice courtyard. One thing they can improve on would be the food. They have lots of problems with the menu.
