Senior Living in Kauai County, HI

"We toured Regency At Puakea Retirement & Assisted Living. They were nice. I know some of the residents there, and every one of them said that they like it there because the people there are nice. I was touring it for myself. The apartments were good. They had a nice lanai, and the layout was good. I looked at the two-bedroom place and it was spacious. It had a stove, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a washer and dryer. Of course, they provide someone to clean the place, and they have three meals a day. They have a pool and a Jacuzzi on the property, which I like. One side faced the parking lot and the back side faced open grounds. They're really pretty grounds. Their activities and their meals looked good. They had a lot of choices of food. They have like an open salad bar. Plus, they have had a lot of activities. They have a van that will take you out once a week on tour, you can go shopping once a week, and then they also take you to doctor's appointments. The person who worked with us was very accommodating. I keep going back and forth with her about things, and she went out of her way to make sure that all my questions were answered. She gave me all the information that I wanted, so I thought that was good."
