I liked Claiborne at Newnan Lakes, but at the time, it was too expensive for me. They have happy hours on Fridays. I don't drink though, so it's not the alcohol that I'm looking for, it's more the music and the dancing. The facility is beautiful. The people are fantastic and friendly. The lady was just wonderful. The place is spotless. They have activities. I couldn't tell for sure if they have the dancing that I like, but I like the atmosphere. I still have the paperwork, and I wish I could afford it.

My parents are residents at Claiborne. This is a beautiful facility. It is very well maintained. The staff and personnel go above and beyond to help. My parents have had a wonderful experience living here from a beautiful apartment with ease of use, to wonderful dinning experiences. Everything is always clean and the services that they provide bring me comfort that my parents made the perfect decision for them in a place to call home. Both they and myself could not be more pleased with all that Claiborne has to offer!!

If you care about your loved one DO NOT put them in Assisted Living here. My Mom was here the last 30 days or so before she passed. She constantly got cold food, cold coffee, had to ask for water all the time. Their response was she is at the end of the hall and short staffed. Also her nightly medicine normally got there pass 9:00 pm. She was bed bound so had no choice but to wait on them. When she would press her pendent for help it could take up to 45 -60 minutes for someone to come to her room. The attitude of most staff there is poor/negative. The sales person Alex is concerned with making a sale and moving onto the next person. He is not a compassionate person at all.The director Ed will not respond to your emails ~ I sent 3 emails on important items and never heard back from him. Sure the place looks great but do your homework before you place a love one there.

We are completely satisfied with The Claiborne at Newnan Lakes. I like the people. They're very accommodating. My mother is there for assisted living. They do a good job. They have outings and they have little games that they play. They take good care of her. They bring her up and down for breakfast, lunch, and supper. We're pleased with them. I've tried their food, and it's good enough. It's all expensive, but we think it's reasonable for what we're getting.

We have friends that have moved into The Claiborne at Newnan Lakes. We have gone to their functions there and looked at it. It looked like they had excellent meals, and they had a caring staff. They have a lot of activities, and they're close to a lot of medical care, which is important as we age. They're 5 minutes from the hospital, so if there's any emergency, that's important. They had an open house. They had a barbecue, and they had some entertainment and things. We met our friends that we've known for years that moved in there, and they were really pleased with it. It's a relatively new facility. Everything is bright and sparkling new and it's easy to get to for people visiting. They've had speakers come in and people talking about memory care. They were really helpful to show what they may offer in the future should we need that. That's good that they offer those things in advance of having to make those decisions. Everything is well maintained, everything is very new, and the staff seems very helpful. The activities seemed reasonable.

My client lives in The Claiborne at Newnan Lakes. He is in the memory care unit and so far, it's been a fair experience. The building is lovely. The dining area has plenty of room. They've got courtyards. It's a bright, sunny place when the sun is shining and it's quite attractive and well-kept. The staff is superlative. They are phenomenal and the new clinical director, Howard, is outstanding, but they promised me that there would be intellectual stimulation and that's only on the other side of the locked door. Memory care doesn't get to do it.

My dad was living in Claiborne at Newnan Lakes. The overall staff was friendly and nice, but they were understaffed. They over-promised. The staff didn't seem certified to do what they were trying to do, and they just had a lot of staffing problems. His room was good. It was mediocre. The food wasn't what the brochure said. It was more hotdogs and baked potatoes. It wasn't really a well balanced meal. The dining area was typical. They didn't do a lot of activities, but they had a few. They just were so understaffed. The person that would be serving food would be doing the activities, and then they could be doing the medicine. You just never knew what you were going to get. They did bingo and a couple of things, but that's about it.

My mother has lived at The Claiborne for a little over a year now. The floor plans and facility are quite nice as to be expected for a new building. However, the quality of service, ESPECIALLY dining, has consistently declined. I cannot count the number of times the staff in the kitchen has quit, and they are not provided with decent ingredients when they are there. The latest staff quit again yesterday and the solution provided for dinner was to serve Little Caesars pizza. It’s one thing to have to resort to ordering pizza at the rates the residents pay, but even worse to get probably the lowest quality pizza available on top of that. The cleaning service is as inconsistent as the dining and you never know if they will even show up. Residents were promised door front trash pick up at move in and now must carry it to end of hall bins and management tried to make them take it all the way down and out to the dumpster at one point. I am extremely disappointed at the decline of service since the all inclusive nature of senior living is what appealed to my mother. Update to 5/252022 My mother met with a representative from the Claiborne and well see what happens but as of last night there dinner selection was a Baked potato and Broccoli cheese soup!! Sone real restaurant style Dining experience !! Unbelievable

The Claiborne at Newnan Lakes was a lovely place. One thing I really loved about it was that everybody had a balcony, and that's important to me. The model unit I went into was very, very nice. It looked over to a courtyard. I really liked that you could see other people on their balcony across the way from the courtyard, because it was three-sided. They all had parking for your cars and you could have pets. The person that toured me and my daughter was lovely. The place was practically brand new. It's excellent.

Claiborne at Newnan Lakes opened earlier this year. The facility is very large, new, and beautiful! The manager showed me around and pointed out details about the home. She explained the many daily activities and answered my questions. The residents were in their daily gathering, and were very friendly - they waved and spoke to me as I toured the facility. The rooms were especially clean and had brand new appliances with quality countertops. In choosing a retirement home, I would seriously consider this facility.

My mother is moving into Claiborne at Newnan Lakes. It is a brand new facility, just opened this year. She definitely wanted a two-bedroom, two-bath, and as much square footage as she could get. She also wanted a facility that would be close to the style in which she has been accustomed to living in her adult life. They really provide all of that. It's a beautiful place. She actually is going to be coming on off 20 acres with a pond lake and wooded, and so this place has a lake and it is wooded. It was really the only one that was like that. She just really liked it, and we liked it. We just made the decision on Monday. The food was actually good. We had baked chicken, onion rings, and sweet potato fries. I had a chili hot dog and dessert. I mean it was plentiful and a variety, so it was good. I think she'll get into the movie theater and the arts and crafts that they're doing. She may even do the book club because she's a reader. They do bingo. She would love bingo. They do a little happy hour in the afternoon. I think all of it will be something she'll experience.

I toured the Claiborne at Newnan Lakes. They were excellent. The price did not fit my mother's budget, but it's practically brand new. The rooms were very, very nice. The staff was very informative, very nice, and very good. They have a salon inside the building, a movie room, and they do activities. They had a great menu that we saw. They do play games, exercises, and chair exercises. They have church service. The location is a good spot, it's right next to a rehab.

Claiborne at Newnan Lakes is beautiful. It's a nice, pristine, and brand-new facility. We've seen everything; they gave us a full tour. The staff who gave us the tour was awesome, and her name is Amy. It's a friendly and nice community.
