My brother in law is a current resident. There's been such an incredible difference in him since moving there. We Facetime every Saturday. His memory is so good. I've never visited in person as I live out of state. He seems very happy. Thank you all for everything.

My grandma was admitted there for therapy with a few eating instructions! No blended food! Next morning we checked on her she still had the same clothes on we brought her in and she was pissy ! With blended food! If you love your family don't bring them there! I wish the had a negative for stars because it's a 5 star negative

The facility is fairly clean, caregivers are under staffed or lazy. I could give a hand full of excellent caregivers on all shifts. Elderly patients are not just a piece of meat lying in a bed. These are someone’s love ones and the upmost care is needed for each. The good Cna’s are overworked because the sorry ones don’t pull there load. If it takes more money to get good personnel go up on the charge to cover the cost . Overall just a ok experience.

Staff is friendly and responsive. Smiles at the receptionist desk add light and joy. The activities coordinators, Ms. Elizabeth and Jamie, are always looking for ways to bring fun and excitement to the residents, offering a variety of social and mental skills, to the patients. I often hear them say how they enjoy going out on the van for lunch. The residents that attend Buble Study are a joy to have in class. Those who can participate, do join in. It is always a pleasure to hear a yes, Lord or an Amen. The location is great as it sits adjacent to Doctors Hospital, which I'm sure comes in real handy when immediate emergency care is needed.

Golden Living Center was good. I have nothing but great things to say about the staff. We got to interact with them because of the eclipse. The place is very clean, even the bathroom. It's perfect for a family member with Alzheimer's.

He went to Windermere and it's a crowded nursing home. The people were nice, but I think they need to hire more staff. The cleaning staff -- I would have to remind them to clean his room.

I visited this facility, this past year of 2011, shortly after my uncle got sick and needed skilled nursing care, around the clock. I was not happy with the facility, as the entire facility and the rooms were not clean, and kept up to where a family would expect. There were complaints from other family members, who had loved ones there, regarding the poor services of the facility. I can remember my uncle needing assistance, and the staff taking almost two hours to help. Also, the food appeared to not be stored properly, and was cold, by the time it got to my family member. As I exited the facility, I could see the staff sitting around talking, instead of attending to the patients, and some were even unkind in their treatment of the patients and even yelling at some of them, saying that they would get there when they could. There were patients walking up and down the hall seeking assistance, which they were not getting from staff. My uncle as well did not like the facility, and was soon removed.
