The aides and nurses are very attentive at Wood Lake Health. There are lots of things to do, and it's a clean place. I'm in a nice and clean shared room with a roommate. It's not like an apartment because it's a smaller space, but it's definitely adequate for what I need. The location and the grounds are very nice, and include a couple of patio that we can use and a pond with a fountain. The grounds are well-kept, it's easy and pleasant to go outside in this community. I also think the value is pretty good here.

We won a lawsuit with Wood lake "nursing home" when they were in a lawsuit for Medicare Medicaid fraud. Payment was due this year and they are paying no one ! It is a catastrophic facility. They make horrible mistakes and will not be responsible for the nightmare they cause your family. It's not fit for your pets.

They do not take precautions at all My husband fell the first day and they did nothing and said he imagined it Nothing on the floor if he should fall. Fell again with injuries. Could not deny this time. No report either time.

When my mom was there they neglected her they left her on the recliner from 9am when I came to check up on her for breakfast then I came back for bed time at 8pm she was still in the recliner and in a soiled diaper & her legs hanging off the side of the recliner! Mind you mom is blind and disabled total assistant needed! I couldn't take it anymore so I took my mom home with me a care for her! Home health care is at my house caring for her now!

THE WORST NURSING HOME MY HUSBAND WAS IN. HE WAS ONLY THERE FOR 3 WEEKS. GOT HIM OUT AS SOON AS I COULD. WOULD LEAVE HIM IN WET DIAPERS ALL DAY. NEVER GAVE WATER. HAD UTI UNTIL HE WENT TO HOSPITAL 3 WEEKS LATER. THERAPIST WERE THE BEST THING ABOUT THAT PLACE. NEVER HAD ENOUGH STAFF TO PROPERLY TAKE CARE OF RESIDENTS. HE GOT VERY WEAK THERE. HE DIED LAST YEAR IN JUNE. BUGS IN SOME OF THE ROOMS. LOST HIS CLOTHES. FOUND THEM AFTER HE DIED. THEY CALLED ME ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND TOLD ME THEY FOUND HIS CLOTHES. REALLY? HE WAS IN 3 OTHER NURSING THAT WAS MUCH BETTER. HE WENT THERE BECAUSE OF THE POOL THAT HE COULD NEVER USE.

This place took almost 6 months to get my grandmothers teeth. Then they said"well, she not loosing too much weight without them" as an excuse. Then, when my grandmother passed away... they LOST her. Yes, I said that. They LOST my deceased Grandmother for 3 hours. 3 FREAKEN HOURS!! They called the wrong funeral home, tried to pass blame on everyone else instead of taking the initiative to locate her. How do you LOOSE someone's loved one??!!?? No empathy, just placed blame on everyone in the facility. DON'T take your loved one there! What a joke! Inexcusable!!! I am going to every social media outlet, including the lacal news channels to make sure, EVERYONE knows how bad this place is!

I find the staff to be friendly, caring, and mostly attentive. I am there almost every day visiting (picking up my father in mid afternoon, bringing him back in early evening). Sometimes I am not completely happy with how to handled something, but overall my father likes it, and we have no desire to move anywhere else.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE THE STAFF ARE RUDE MEAN THEY DONT REALLY CARE FOR THE RESIDENTS THEY ARE ONLY THEIR FOR A CHECK, ITS SAD HOW THEY TREAT THESE PEOPLE IT MAKES NO SINCE. MY MOTHER WAS A RESIDENT THEIR AND THAT WAS THE WORSE THING WE COULD HAVE EVER DONE TO HER. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS GETTING AND STEALING PEOPLE MONEY.

My mother stayed at this facility after she took a pretty bad fall. My mother and I thought that the staff were very caring and attentive to everyone's care. The food served here was not as good as other facilities my mother has lived in, for example Morse. I believe my mother enjoyed her care and time at this home because she was able to relax and rest while still being under supervision incase anything should happen. The amenities are fairly good with a nice area to go outside and get some sun and some fresh air. The other seniors there seemed to have more of a community at this home then other places my mother has been to, for example she got involved in some bingo games. The room my mother stayed at was very good and spacious. The room also had a television for her to watch, which helped her stay occupied at while there.
