I'm very pleased with Senior Point Assisted Living. My husband has already moved in. They are great. I would recommend it 100%. The place is beautiful and relatively new. They cook their food there, and do the residents' laundry there. There are always people in the living room where they are watching TV. We see employees going around and checking on them. They are never alone. I was really surprised to go there the day before and see my husband already walking there. Twice a week they have people that come and entertain them. It's a great, great place. They get along like friends. The owner is there very often, and everybody respects the owner.

Senior Point Assisted Living had a little bit of smell. Most of the residents spend most of their time in the dayroom and the dining room upstairs. They had a TV in the dining room. I didn't like that the floors were sticky. The rooms were nice, but they were too small for two people. Everybody was just sitting around watching TV. I didn't like it because I feel that the elderly should have some activities to do, not just watch TV all day. Most of the staff spoke Spanish. The woman who gave me the tour was just doing it because she had to. She walked me through it and she had no explanations. She just pointed things out and kept it moving. It was very dreary. I didn't want to be there.

We want to share that we are very very happy with the care our mother/grandmother receives from Senior Point. This is by far the nicest and the absolute cleanest place my mother has been in and she has done so well here. She has friends here, there’s always entertaining and she always has a smile on her face and that for a family is worth a million dollars! I personally visit this facility at least 3/4 times per week and the staff welcomes us from the front door and the entire place. The office staff is also fabulous and always willing to help if needed. My mother has been in their care for over a year and has had 5 star care the entire year. They also keep up on FB and it allows her out of state siblings to see how happy she is and that’s so rewarding knowing the entire family knows she is getting top notch care. One more great thing is that she calls Senior Point home which she didn’t at the 2 previous places. If you are looking for a Clean, friendly, caring and loving staff staff and place your family member can call home then Senior Point will be your last stop.

My father stayed at Senior Point Assisted Living. He was in memory care on the second floor. It's brand new and very clean. They treat the residents as if they were their own families. Whenever we had issues, they were always there to help us. They went beyond their call of duty in every situation we ever had with my father. The food was good. They have the kitchen downstairs in the assisted living. There's no kitchen upstairs, but the dining area was very clean, open, and spacious, and they had recliners there and a brand new TV. The facility was top-notch. They didn't have activities in the memory care, but in the assisted living portion, they had a musician come every other week and we participated in that. They helped me and my family so much, and they accepted his Medicaid waiver for the long term.

My father moved into Senior Point Assisted Living. They're doing a wonderful job, and we're very happy with them. They're very attentive with their patients, and they've taken really good care of Daddy. They make sure he eats, which is good. The doctor services have been great. They brought in the house doctor, who called and probably spent an hour on the phone with me making sure we had everything done right. His room is extremely clean, the facility is very clean, they have activities for them, and overall we couldn't ask for anything better. For lunch alone, they had a full-course meal, and the food seems to be really good, so we have no complaints with that -- and Daddy doesn't either; he loves to eat. The facilities are very nice. It's a relatively new facility; I think it's only two years old, and it's really nice. For Daddy's birthday, they had a gentleman come in and sing happy birthday to him, and we got it on video. They sent it to us, and that was really good.

I toured Senior Point Assisted Living a month ago, and it met the criteria that I was looking for. The first one is that they cater to Hispanic people, that all of the staff speak Spanish, have Latin food, Latin dance for entertainment, and is right in the middle of the Latin community here in Tampa. That's important to my mother because she doesn't speak very much English. Secondly, it's a new facility; it's nice, very tidy, and well-kept. It looks to me like it's well managed too. The staff was very helpful, and they gave me confidence that they will take good care of my mother. I just had a one hour tour, and I was very impressed already.

Senior Point Assisted Living is very clean, big, and nice. The rooms are big and shared by two people. They have a dining area, a TV area where they could socialize, a gym upstairs, and a little garden in the center where they could go out and get fresh air. It has two floors, and my mother is on the base floor. There is plenty of staff during the day, but they cut down during the night. They can use a little more activities. They do their hair, they have holiday parties, they bring musicians in, and they play Bingo and dominos. They get snacks as well. The rooms have big bathrooms and big showers. They bathe them every day there.

We chose Senior Point for my mom and she's now in their assisted living. Their assisted living and memory care is in one building. So far, our experience has been very good. The place is very clean, very modern, and it's only a year and a half old. It's more accommodating to the latin elderly because most of the staff members are hispanic. They provide a lot of attention and activities, and it has been very good so far. The only issue so far is switching insurances. They really didn't know what was coming up when she had to switch, so there were some surprise costs that she didn't expect. However, that will be straightened out in the future. Their dining area is very nice, and it looks like a wedding hall. I have experienced dining and the food looks good. My mom always wants more seasoning on the food, but that's not surprising (I'm sure most people would). Regardless, every time we go and see her having a meal, it always looks like a balanced meal. They always have a salad, a main entree, and a dessert. I would rate the activities a three because I don't see a lot or hear a lot as far as that's concerned. The value for the money is comparable to other places we have checked out.
