We are beyond grateful for the BeeHive of Niceville and the amazing staff for taking such good care of my brother. They are so caring and understanding of his needs. He had dementia which required a special kind of person to take care of him. They showed such compassion when he would take all of his clothes out of his clothes and put them all over his room. They would just put them back, even if he did this every day. He loved the food. It was top quality. Homecooked for every meal. They were so loving. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Doris

Beehive Homes Assisted Living in Niceville was very nice, they're very friendly and very helpful. The staff who gave the tour was very friendly, the rooms were very up to date, very kept up, and decent in size. Their dining area was really big, but I have not tried the food. I saw the residents doing yoga when I was there.

We saw Bee Hive Homes of Niceville. I didn't really spend enough time with them, but the people were very nice. What I saw, as far as the food and everything like that, was very good. I just don't really have anything else to say as far as their interaction, activities, or anything like that.

Beehive Homes is a nice place, but it didn't have as many amenities. They have a room, but the other facility has a little apartment which gives them a little more privacy. The staff was really nice, but I felt like they needed to have some place large enough for the family members checking into a place. They needed to have a quiet place in an office area to talk to people. If you want to go talk to somebody, you don't want to sit out in the open with all the residents. Usually you would like to go into an office area. The rooms were clean and nice. In comparison with the other facility, it was kind of small. The eating place was not as intimate. One of the things I noticed was that their yard area had steep hills. Usually people of that age cannot go on steep hill because it would not be safe.

My mother in law is a resident at Beehive Homes in Niceville. She moved in after three or four falls in her home. They provide excellent care, meals, and a safe, family home environment for her. As with any age, in her senior years, community and a sense of socializing are a benefit to Mom. This level of interaction is something we cannot provide her in our own home as we work long hours. Additionally, they call if anything of concern arises and I can rest assured that she is being cared for. It means a lot to our family for her care to be consistent, respectful, and thoughtful. We are delighted with the activities, environment, and most certainly the staff and owners of the Beehive Homes for all they do to ensure Mom's days and nights are good.

Beehive is a different type of facility. They do accept Medicaid and if you're a Medicaid patient, you share the room. It's like staying at Motel 6 and being eligible to stay at the Marriott. The rooms in it are smaller but the staff was wonderful there, they were very friendly. It's somewhere I would put my mom based on price point and value but they were very friendly and they were very sweet so I would recommend it. I recommend people to take a look at it and see what they think.

We saw the Beehive Home and I liked their family room or joint living area where people hung out. They had one-person bedrooms without a living area in the room. They seemed very tight knit and family oriented. The staff that I met there was very nice, friendly, and very busy. They had activities like chair exercise, games, and puzzles. They had television, computer, and a piano. It was very pretty, but I thought it would be too small for my father to be there for a long time

The Beehive Home in Niceville (Bluewater Bay) was used by some friends and their grandmother. She was taken there and she lived in happiness. Visitor hours are very flexible and they have people there twenty-four hours a day. They do have certifiable nurses who remember all the needs and administer to all the residents needs. Surprisingly there isn't a old person smell in the facility. It is very clean, and they have several janitors staffed. My friends enjoy visiting because the food is usually better then most nursing homes, and they have entertainment, usually classical piano or violin. Overall, I give this nursing home a 4.7 out of 5 mainly because of the price, staff, and the dependence. The price compared to other homes is just a little bit less. The staff is very friendly. They do have alarms that keep the member from leaving the facility. In the future, I will use the Beehive homes for my nursing home needs.
