Jackson Heights Rehabilitation center offered assisted living services, but their main focus is in rehabilitating patients. I was pleased with the services offered there for my father. My father had suffered a stroke, and he needed rehabilitation services to "remember" how to walk. A part of his body was a temporarily paralysed and it affected his movement. Along with the rehabilitation, he had his own room, and 3 meals a day. They monitored his medication, and care. He successfully recovered from there and was taken back home. Jackson Heights is located at NW 14th ave and approximately NW 22 Street. My only negative comment is that I did not like the location of the facility. It was in a bleak area of town.
