My mother was at Palmetto Subacute Care Center for rehab for a month and a half, and it was very good. We were very happy and very pleased with the staff and all the help. They were very good. The food was very good. There's a variety that's tasty and healthy as well. They had activities in the afternoon and the activity director was excellent, very caring, very loving, and very patient. They had a lot of music and put on videos of old songs. They had painting, arts and crafts, and bingo.

My grandmother was there for 10 years and all her care givers treated her as if she was their family, we could not have picked a better place for her to spend her last 10 years.

Caregivers seemed to be unhappy, gloomy and unwilling to lend a hand. I wanted help feeding my father and I was repeatedly told it was not allowed. Supervisors scream at personnel which is probably why they are not happy to help family members.
