My mother and I visited seven senior living communities before choosing The Waterford. It was our favorite by far because the residents were so friendly, the activities suited her interests and the staff was kind and helpful. Mom has been a resident for five years now and I still think it was a great choice. I visit 2-3 times per week and find the facilities clean and well cared for, there’s always new and creative activities for residents to enjoy, the staff is great and the Juno Beach area is very nice and convenient to lots of shopping and restaurants. It’s been a great place for mom.

Waterford was very nice, clean, bright, and cheerful. The apartments were very nice and they were customized to each resident as they moved in. The staff member who accommodated us during the tour was very friendly and helpful. We ate lunch there a couple of times, and it was very nice. They had a wide range of activities. They had exercises, swimming, crafts and arts, charity events, and they had speakers come in.

My husband and I visited The Waterford. We arranged for a visit to live there. He wasn't sick then, so we were looking to maybe move there in the assisted living or just rent a condo in there. A lot of people from our church live there, that's why we looked into it. It was very nice, but it was more expensive than we thought it was going to be. You had to pay a good deal of money upfront that I don't think you get back, so we decided not to do it. It's a very beautiful place. My husband was in rehab there over a year ago, they were wonderful to him, and it's a wonderful place. They've got nice people there. They have a five-star chef, not in the rehab, but if you live there (in the apartments). He couldn't do the program, so they sent him to hospice and that's where he died. I guess he was worse off than we thought he was, but the nurses and the caretakers and all of the people there were nice. That's why we wanted to go back because it was a very nice place. He was in the rehab part. He had physical therapy, but he couldn't do it. They sent him to the hospital for some tests and he got to where he couldn't swallow. That's the reason that they sent him to hospice. His room was very nice. They had all private rooms there. You don't share a room with somebody. The food was very good the first time. He had to have his food cut up, and when you cut up food, it's not as good as when you have a piece of chicken or a piece of fish or whatever. Most of the staff were very good. I didn't pay because Medicare was paying. They had people come in and sing or do different things. At first, they had somebody come in every day and some lady came in to teach and do yoga with them. They had a big room, and everybody was in the center there. The yoga instructor was excellent. One time, they had people come in with animals and they could pet the animals. Because of COVID, they didn't have all that stuff going on. It's still a good place, but I wasn't happy. They had a speech therapist and she's the one that made all this trouble, but I wouldn't rate them badly. I would rate them still good to go there. They're very clean. They have physical therapists, they have the food, and they have a place where you can do crafts, and once a day, you could go in there and they would do little things with you. They had a nice garden area where you can walk around. My husband couldn't walk around by himself, so I had to take him out there. They're very strict about falling and you staying in a wheelchair. They were ultra-strict about safety.

We have been residents of The Waterford for 13+ years. We have found the employees helpful and caring; the food excellent; the residents friendly ; and the professionalism of the Health Center staff outstanding. During the Covid crisis, we have been especially well cared for and our community has had almost no infections. We have never once regretted our decision to make The Waterford our home and encourage anyone who wants to live better longer to join us.

My wife and I have been residents since the first of the year moving in just before the virus attack and lockdown - probably the worst time to evaluate our new home. We couldn't be more pleased. They have done a fantastic job in protecting us and providing us a safe home. The staff is outstanding - friendly and willing to help. We only see our neighbors from 6 feet away when walking but all are very friendly and mention that we will have a good social life when "this is over". Communal areas are closed but everything looks to be in great shape and ready to use.

Waterford is very nice, very clean, and very spacious. We had a pretty good menu selection. We have plated meals. We have all sorts of exercise classes, bridge, and mah-jong. We have everything, including three swimming pools. The staff is very caring.

I chose Waterford in Juno Beach because of the level of intellect of the people and interests. I like everything about it, it's not this big huge place. The apartments were a little smaller that I'm used to but that's okay. They have a chapel but it's for people of all religions, they have a library, a place for men to do their thing, there's a shop. It's a lovely place along the water, and there's lots of water there. They take people to interesting places, it's not just sitting playing cards all day. You get one meal a day, I had a couple of meals there and they were delicious.

The Waterford is not new, but it is very nice and very high-end. My office is not far from there, and a lady asked me if I could come there, have lunch with her, and then she showed me her apartment as a courtesy. It was very nice and very clean. I have been in others that were not so clean and had some bad smells. I had a lovely lunch there, and I like food, so I would say it was excellent, and my wife is a wonderful cook. I had no problems with anything. Everybody was very cordial to me when I was looking for the woman I was looking for, and the people in the dining room were very professional and very service oriented.

Waterford was very good at inviting people. We had eaten there around four or five times by invitation. We have talked with some of the guests that live there and these are well-educated people. In Waterford, it's almost like you're getting on a cruise ship. You got everything you want to do there. The grounds were so pretty. There were plenty of places to walk around. By the pool, there were a lot of very comfortable chairs. They have a lovely auditoriorum that they have just built. They used it for lots of things. That's where they have their chair yoga, fitness activities, etc. If you need help with dressing, with feeding, with clothing or whatever, then you can hire an aide to come in for a fee per hour.

The facilities were very well maintained. All of the residents that I interacted with were really very happy to be there. Security was of paramount concern. The dining room allowed visitors and/or family to attend meals with their loved ones. The on-site services included a bank (PNC) and a hair salon. The topmost floor had a "party room" with views of the ocean. When I require assissted living, I would love to join a facility of this caliber.
