"My mother has been in The Pointe of North Gables for a month now. I like the round-the-clock care. The administrators are very competent and helpful. The amenities are good. My mother's room is clean, fairly spacious, and well-lit. For activities, there's music and TV, they play games and do some crafts, and there are little social events like ice cream. I have tried their food. It's tasty, it's varied, and it's served punctually at regular schedules. The quality of the food is good."

"There is no place like this in South Florida. My grandmother lived here for ten years and she loved everything and everyone there. Most importantly, they loved her right back. She spent time outside every day, which was very important to her having lived her whole live in the tropics. She loved seeing the butterflies and always having friends to talk to. She has outlived many of her lifelong friends but at Bay Oaks, she made new friends quickly. The staff there is also like no where else. Many of the CNAs have worked at Bay Oaks for over 25 years. Everyone always talks about how good the food is and it really is. My grandmother lived much longer than any of thought she would and she always said it was because she didn't want to miss the next meal! She would recommend Bay Oaks so I write this for her."

"My mom was at the independent living facility here and then she moved to their assisted living. The facility is very nice. It's excellent. They have lots of activities. They served three meals a day. You have your apartment and if you're in the assisted living, they have nurses that come every couple of hours to check on the patients. It's very nice. They have arts and crafts, bingo, cards, and musical during the day. There are a lot of activities and everybody was very friendly. "

"Miami Gardens Manor, Inc. was a nice facility. The people were nice and accommodating, but the quarters were pretty small. The residents there seemed to be doing fine and everything, but it wasn't a good fit for my brother. They serve meals, and everyone gets the same thing. So, on any particular day, the menu is the menu. It's not one with choices. For the tour experience, they showed us the whole facility. We even had an opportunity to talk to a couple of the residents. It was very well done. There was nothing negative about the visit; it just wasn't something that felt like the right fit. The person who toured us did everything possible to make sure that we understood where things were, how they worked, what the facility was, and how it looked. One thing I like is that my brother likes to go for walks, and the area that Miami Gardens was in would have provided a nice area for him to walk. There were nice walkways and everything. It was pretty nice. There's not a lot of commercial activity right near it. It was very clean."

"I toured The Peninsula Assisted Living & Memory Care. It was clean and spacious, and the individuals seemed happy there, which is something I don't see normally, so they seemed very well-served. The staff was great. She was very informative and spent two hours with me, which I appreciated. They offer activities and food, and their menu looks great. They have a hair salon and offer a lot of facilities. Their dining area needs a little more space."

"My father was a memory care resident for 2.5 years. We couldnt have asked for better care and a better staff. Truly the best in Florida. Keith truly cares and is the nicest guy in the world. Every staff member treated my father with dignity. Even during covid when I couldnt see my father in person I didnt have a worry in the world knowing he was in good hands. If you want the best in South Florida i would highly recommend them"

"I toured Providence Living at Pembroke Pines. It was very welcoming. The grass is well maintained. It's a homey-type layout. You feel like you're coming home. The staff was very, very helpful. She put you at ease and answered all the questions. They're trying to finish doing whatever to make it more homey. The dining area was set up like a family setting, and they had provisions for people in wheelchairs."

"My sister has been in an assisted living facility at Whispering Pines Home Care for five months already. It's very well kept and always sparkly clean. They're very nice ladies and always caring and concerned. They seem to enjoy the food. It's a lot of rice which my sister isn't that crazy about, but we've gone in there and they've been eating and everybody seems to be eating it happily, so I don't think it's bad in any way. When I would go in, it's just before or just after lunch, and then she likes to take a nap, so we sit with her and talk until she's ready to take a nap. It's a lovely home and they have a nice patio area and a nice living room/TV room that they can sit in and watch TV if they want. Value for money is very good. Every place else wanted over almost $3000 and she didn't have that money. We were able to use her Social Security check and some of her money and then they're applying for Medicaid for her. I'm very happy I found them."

"10 yrs at Eastridge -best decision I have made-attracted to 76 acres permitttng lots of outdoor activity. Have one story unit with rear view of one acre landscaping-/have planted 67 bromeliads around my unit—pls tell me of any competition matching this. Lee"

"I toured Alfonso's ALF. They showed me the house. It was nice and clean. The people were polite and nice. They were very nice to me. However, it is not a place for my mom. They weren't totally bad, but they weren't the best. My mom is still active, and residents were just sitting around."

"The facility featured many amenities for residents to entertain themselves. The rooms were nice and had a decent amount of space to boot. They had many social areas on the ground floor. They also had good security to make sure other people don't go in there, it helps to make the guests feel secure while keeping their privacy. The common areas (dining room, hallways and entertainment rooms etc) are also clean and there is usually staff available 24 hours who check the common areas and resident rooms regularly. On the whole residents seem more independent than at most other assisted living facilities, although there is also an excellent memory care unit. The staff is friendly, but because it's a large place, there can be a bit of a businesslike feel about the place. The care seems good and the memory care is outstanding because of the people who are hired to be the eyes and ears there. Food is of a good quality and most of the residents were happy about it. The facility is a nice place for old people to live peacefully. I would recommend it for all. "

"Caring for You II is a six-bed facility, and it is only for women. I went to visit with my mother, she really liked the atmosphere and the people working there, and everything is super neat and spotlessly clean. She hasn't moved in yet, but from the impression we got and everything, I would probably give it a four. They have a nurse coming in every day, and they take care of their medications. "

"I went to St. Anne’s Nursing Center, the building was fine, and it looked very good actually. There was a bus available to transport residents to different locations. The staff was friendly. The only problem I had was they’re not very prompt in their communication. It’s a pretty big complex with four to six wings and two floors."
