My sister has been in an assisted living facility at Whispering Pines Home Care for five months already. It's very well kept and always sparkly clean. They're very nice ladies and always caring and concerned. They seem to enjoy the food. It's a lot of rice which my sister isn't that crazy about, but we've gone in there and they've been eating and everybody seems to be eating it happily, so I don't think it's bad in any way. When I would go in, it's just before or just after lunch, and then she likes to take a nap, so we sit with her and talk until she's ready to take a nap. It's a lovely home and they have a nice patio area and a nice living room/TV room that they can sit in and watch TV if they want. Value for money is very good. Every place else wanted over almost $3000 and she didn't have that money. We were able to use her Social Security check and some of her money and then they're applying for Medicaid for her. I'm very happy I found them.
