My husband recently spent 7 weeks in the Menorah House Rehabilitation Center, and it was as pleasant an experience as possible. The facility is older yet clean. There is no "nursing home odor." The most outstanding feature for us is how pleasant the staff is. From reception to nurses, aids to kitchen staff, everyone greets you with a cheery smile., day in and day out. The physical therapists are knowledgeable and encouraging. The facility is safe, and the nurses are caring. They provide transportation to outside doctors appointments, which is so helpful. Meals are appealing and tasty and are served with care. Administration is available and caring. For a situation that no one desires, this was a positive experience. We are grateful.

Worst experience

The rooms are disgusting, The food is disgusting and the staff is disgusting. Terrible lazy, They don’t work all they do is talk and laugh out loud in the hallways disturbing the patient. The place needs to be pushed down. I wouldn’t pay one penny to live in there and it should be against the law for them to run a business like that. The staff the conditions it’s unbelievable. I have never experienced anything so terrible in my life.

It was the scariest place I have walked into in a very long time! From the moment I opened the front door, I could smell a strong odor of urine. On the way to my friends room I passed by more than 6 patients screaming in terror. My friend cold not get to his walker, so was forced to sit in his waste all day. The roommate was a diabetic who never spoke, but there were piles of sugary foods and drinks around his bed? Don’t let your loved ones suffer here!

Do your research. There must be better places. We visited family member- both trash cans both times filled to top - one had iv tubing on top. 2 hours to get help with a medical problem. Take heed!

My brother and I would like to thank everyone at Menorah House for taking such good care of our mother. From the front desk receptionist, to the nurses and caregivers, the business office, administrators and maintenance crew, you all went above and beyond to make sure our mother was happy. We are grateful. We know how much you really did love her. Thank you all!

I was a resident here at menorah house. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Avi was my go to guy, Very friendly and helpful! Definitely would recommend!
