My father is in a nursing home at Davis Place. They seem very attentive. They care about their residents. They seem very social as far as wanting to get him to socialize with them or with other people. They had someone come in and sing and play the guitar. It was like a little concert. They do bingo and different activities. They do card playing during the day. They have two big dining rooms and they're clean. They do a lot of the activities in the dining areas. He's in a shared room. It's a nice little room. They keep it clean. It looks pretty good. It has a shared bathroom, which is always clean. They provide physical therapy and speech therapy. There are speech therapists there. They provide meals. There's a pretty well-equipped kitchen there. They always have nourishment all day. They have shake drinks and dessert items and things like that.

My dad was at Davis Place from 12/2021 to 1/2023. The nurses and CNAs were great. My issue was with the administration. Specifically the Social Worker and LNHA. I would repeatedly leave messages with no return calls. It was ridiculous how common this became. One day I had the LNHA paged and he finally picked up and he said that I never left him a message. Yes sir I did leave you a message on the voicemail that has your name on it and your very distinctive voice. I was told that the reason the Social Worker didnt return my calls is because she has a lot of time off. Well thats great for her but what about the residents! There was no support, no assistance in the process of trying to get my dad discharged with home services. I would expect that the LNHA would be sure everyone is doing their jobs. the Social Worker was not doing her job. So frustrating beyond words. My dad passed away in the nursing. We were never able to get him home and I believe that is due to the lack of guidance by the social worker.

Rooms are very small should not be allowed to have 2 people to a room especially if someone is wheelchair bound the doctor ordered my friend to have her meds every 8 hours the nurse said she would not give it to my friend unless she asked for the meds .The nursing home does not turn the patients as required so now my friend lays in bed with bed soars because the nurses don’t want to be bothered I have called numerous times to be talked to like I’m bothering them they maybe short handed but the patients don’t deserve to be treated like that and be retaliated on I strongly do not recommend that facility

I cannot review the room that my aunt is in due to the clear fact that we are not allowed to visit her room. On our last visit, we found out that my aunt had been moved two weeks before to another room. This was of concern to my aunt who complained to us. Also, I question the use of appropriate use of adaptive equipment. Each time I visit, there are no legrest on the wheelchair. Also the safety belt is inappropriately loose. It’s supposed to keep her safely positioned, but doesn’t. I am anticipating breakdown to her Coccyx with the loose belt and no legrest. When asked, I was told that she uses her legs to propel herself. A sitting rollator with safety belt would make more sense. As far as the way she presents, she looks clean and well nourished. I await the ability to visit in room. If the problem is the privacy of her new room mate, I could visit the room during lunch time or during activity time. Openness should be paramount for visitors.

The rooms are are on the smaller side and no planning for patients when choosing who rooms with whom. Administration doesn't ask the staff for input. A person with a wheelchair should not be on a window side. That person will have a difficult time getting out. The staff, nurses, CNA's and Therapy were all fantastic. They couldn't do enough for you. My two complaints are that the administration doesn't seem to be on the ball. I was there 10 days before I found out there was a menu, which leads me to my second complaint. The food wasn't the greatest but the biggest problem was it was always served cold. I don't know if it is a staffing problem, or and equipment problem. Something else the administration should look into. All in All, compared to others that I have been in, this by far was the best. I would go back again, even with the cold food.

My brother is in Davis Place. The rooms are very small, you can barely get two people in them. He seems to like the meals, and the staff is nice. It's a 5-star rating convalescent home. They have many activities, and they're one of the best in the state. They have Bingo, chess, and checkers. It's a nice place.

I don’t usually write reviews… but after my aunts stay at Davis Place I feel compelled to give a shout out to the AMAZING staff members who cared for her at Davis Place! From the housekeepers to the nursing staff everyone was sooo nice and caring! The recreation department kept her stimulated with fun activities and live entertainment and the we all enjoyed the delicious free meals when we visited her. The place was just renovated and looks more like a upper class hotel than a nursing home. The Therapists became her friends and spent hours each day getting her mobility and strength back and she is now back home doing great. So THANK YOU for all you have done for her.

I did not like Davis Place. The staff was never the same people, which was confusing for my uncle who has dementia. His room was small with only two beds in it. They had activities, but those were mostly for long-term patients. The food was OK. There was just a bad feeling about the place and I didn't like the wait time for people to get care. My uncle had to be on oxygen, but I'd come in and I'd see the oxygen mask on the floor. They weren't caring for him and it wasn't a good experience.

I was part of the Friendsgiving celebration last year, which is the day after Thanksgiving party that the recreation staff through for the residents. It was really wonderful seeing how excited everyone was and I can't wait to be part of it again this year.

My dad had to go for rehab after a knee replacement and he was nervous to be going into a facility. The staff is so caring and friendly, they immediately made him feel comfortable and worked hard to get him in shape to go home safely. He even loved the food ! And made some friends to boot.I would recommend this place to anyone in need of a facility.

I have been to this facility numerous times, and the thing that I like the most about it is the caring staff. The nurses really take the time to talk to you and to listen to your concerns. If you have a question that they cannot answer themselves they will find the right person for you to talk to and get results. There are always stimulating activities going on for the residents, and the residents do seem generally happy. I have been told by my family member that the food is very good. Regency Heights always looks and smells clean, although the building could use some updating. The inside is decorated in a cheery and bright manner. Holidays are always exciting at Regency Heights, with festive decorations and activities for all. The facility is centrally located close to highways for easy access, and shopping is close-by also. Overall, I believe Regency Heights is a good place for your family member when they need the extra care that they cannot get at home.
