My friend moved into Aspen House. They are very attentive to my friend. The other residents there are talkative. Everybody is still active and welcoming to my friend. The facility is very clean. The outdoor space is wonderful because it's got everything for them to do out there if they want to do it. They have little tents, so they're not burned out in the sun. They have a phone in their regular area compared to other places where they have to go and ask to get on the phone. They play checkers, chess, and a lot of other memory games. The money is a little extra, but I guess you're paying for what you're going to get.

I came here to see if it was a good fit for my mom. The staff seemed overly stressed. A resident was soaked walking the halls looking very confused. You could tell they were trying to impress me and my family but it seemed fake. I would not put my family here

My mother used to be in Aspen House; I liked it fine. We were not going to move her and we were planning to let her pass there. Their help was excellent. She had a really nice room and I liked the staff a lot, but they didn't communicate well. She's had a lot of falls, and they weren't reporting that to hospice or to me, but those things changed and got better. I ate there and I liked their food. Some of the CNAs weren't really sharp, and the difficult part of the community was that there were no locks on the doors. They would just go in and out of each other's rooms, so I kept looking for her clothes and whatnot. So that was irritating to me. The place was clean, beautiful, and nice. I thought that it was a good value for the money.

My sister is living in memory care at Aspen House I. It's been great and they're really good at what they're doing, so I'm really pleased with them. They take people on outings and they have entertainment. One thing that's really nice is they can have their meals in their room if they want to. They have really good facilities for showers and they're really good at giving them their medication, which I'm impressed with. They have at least three meals a day and they have set schedules, but if they don't get their meal because they don't want it, they'll give it to them later so they can get it whenever they would need or like it. The staff is absolutely helpful and they're right there. They have a good staff to patient ratio as well. I couldn't ask for anything better.

Aspen House was kind of dark, and they had shared rooms which were not very conducive for us. I didn't see very many staff members so I was a little concerned. The dining area was fair. They talked about activities and things that they did. They had a table set up where people were sitting around for activities, as well as a TV viewing area. There weren't a lot of windows in the area, and the walls were painted different colors in darker tones.

We have found Aspen House for my father-in-law and we love it. First and foremost, we’re saving about $2,500 a month, which is awesome, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and always attentive to us and to their residents. They’re always interacting with the residents, which is a huge change from where we were before. The place is very clean, very friendly, open, and welcoming. There’s also beautiful and comfortable furniture to sit on. I can’t say enough good things about them. Honestly, they are awesome.

The best place that we found was the very last place that we looked at which was Aspen House. I liked everything about it. Their patience with my dad was great; he was a very difficult case with aggressive behavior, and they tried everything in their power. Their staff is very attentive. They have a one to five staff ratio, and it is a great facility. They took very good care of my dad. They have a great staff, and the girls actually followed up when he was in hospice in the hospital unit. They came by, and they were just very caring.

I recently toured different numerous places in the area so that when my family member needs placement, I will be ready. It is obvious that the resident is their #1 concern. The staff is very caring and well trained. I was there at meal time, and the food looked delicious. There was no odors around, and the place was clean and obvious that housekeeping does a good job. I loved the place. When the time comes, it will be an easy decision. It will be Aspen House for my family member.

For some months I visited daily my wife who was a victim of Alzheimer's disease. Having long believed that no two brains are wired the same, I discovered that no two brains become unwired the same way, either. The Aspen staff was truly awesome, for each resident was treated as only he really needed. For a staff person to do so was not a matter of training or book reading, but rather concern that arises only from the heart. I was amazed that so many such persons could be found.

This facility provides the best, most attentive care to any person with dementia or Alzheimer's Disease than any other facility I have visited. The owners and employees are fantastic, and the space itself is warm and inviting. I would recommend this place to any person needing memory care.

This facility is great! It's warm and inviting. It feels like a home, not like a dark and grey nursing facility (it is assisted living, not a nursing home). You can really tell that they care about the residents. The activities are fantastic, and are tailored for each individual. Residents are constantly being engaged with each other and the staff. Definitely a place I would feel safe and comfortable with having my family live there. The people that run it are completely invested in taking care of loved ones. It's a small family-run business, not a corporation, which is great. If you haven't had a tour, I would recommend it!
