I've been very happy with the staff, facility and care that my friend has received at Columbine West. They did a marvelous job during Covid lockdown. My friend Joe though he is very limited in speech loves interacting with the staff and keeping them amused. They treat him with much care and affection.

I recently stayed here for almost three weeks because of a badly broken arm. In that time I had two baths and one shower. My bed was never changed or made. Several times it took almost an hour before my call light was answered. My whole stay was a nightmare.

Dad stayed at Columbine West Health & Rehab Facility for 100 days. They were trying to rehab him so he could go back home, but they never did get him back on his feet. I did not like this nursing home; I don't think anyone really likes nursing homes, but this place is the worst. They did not take care of my dad. They were understaffed. I did not like the assistants. Dad said the nurses did not listen to what he had to say and felt disrespected. Dad was 100% disabled and had only one hand. The aides brought him a packet of peanut butter and a packet of crackers. Nobody would help him open them and put the peanut butter on the crackers. I was not too happy with that place.
