I visited my mother once in Rowan Community. It's very well put together and kept up. It's a bit of a younger community, aged more around the 50-60 area. She's happy and well taken care of by very helpful, nice nurses. They have a dining room right near the front door. She has a shared room for two people, which is small.

The service at Rowan Community was totally nice, especially the CNAs. The CNAs and residents treat each other like family. It was like a home. The place was so clean and so nice. They had everything for the residents and they seemed happy to be there.

Rowan is unlike most nursing homes I have toured. There is a friendly, group atmosphere that the care givers bring. There are murals on the walls, a garden, and a calming room.
