The clients at Alora's Home Care seemed happy and contented. It was super hot outside so they were watching TV and there were a couple of caregivers there. They were just finishing up lunch as I recall. I would say that the outside area was not very conducive, the front yard and the backyard were not in good shape, it was not well taken care of. One of the things that we were thinking that time was we would want a space outdoors that was nice and safe and spacious enough for my mom. It was not very spacious nor was it kept well enough to want to sit outside. The staff seemed quite attentive and the people seemed happy and they were nice. We didn't see anything that concerned us about the staff. Things were quite sparse. I think that was fine, but it could use some more indoor lighting because it felt very cramped. The room we saw, as I recall, was a shared room, which was fine, but it didn't have much privacy for either one of the people in that room.
