My friend has moved into My Home II. The atmosphere or the environment is warm and respectful. Each person can select what he wants to eat and they will provide that. It's very clean. It feels welcoming. They provide home health care through a doctor. Some nurses come to the home and provide medical care and physical therapy. The staff is industrious. Sometimes, they're too busy. The daytime staff are constantly working with the residents. The food is really good. They have everything that they need. The rooms are set out on either side of a central corridor. Each one has an external door as well as an internal door. Each one has French doors, so that's very convenient if you want to go outside. There's not a lot happening regarding activities. The management will take residents on shopping trips and different activities upon request, but there's nothing organized. It's a board and care, so it's very individualized.
