Golden Life Home Care VIII would probably have been my second choice. I like that the staff was friendly. I just didn't think that they were at the top. They were so-so. It was not as clean as the other one that I saw and I wasn't able to see any interaction with any of the residents. All of them were in the room. That's what I saw, but the staff was nice to me. They said that I had to do the appointments and then I was a little concerned about the showering. The guy told me that they would only be able to do one shower a week and then they would wash you off. So, I was a little taken aback by that. He said they have so many people there and they only have two nurses, but I get that it can be overwhelming to try to do showers for everyone. I thought they should have had access to maybe at least three showers a week. They still were friendly, though. Overall, the facility was pretty nice. When I came and I was taking pictures, I thought the rooms were a little bit cluttered.
