My mother had been in Park Vista Senior Living for 2 weeks, basically for hospice. They did a very good job. The food looked very good and was prepared fresh in their kitchen. The kitchen is basically open enough that anybody can see food being prepared any time. The staff was very attentive and kind with everybody there. You can in go in any time of the day unannounced. The residents looked well taken care of -- they had all kinds of things available like books and televisions, and some of the ambulatory ones could do physical activities inside or outside. The grounds were very nice. It was open, airy, spotlessly clean, the furniture was very nice and not beat up, and nice dining areas had tables and chairs that looked very new and comfortable. It was an exceptionally good looking place.

My Grandmother was at Park Vista for 7 months before my mom moved her out. She was in the first house on the left side. My Grandma was not able to ask for what she needed so she was found soaking wet through her clothing every time we visited. She developed a rash that needed to be treated by a doctor. Her sheets were not changed and smelled bad. It appeared she was only bathed once a week. Staff was using foul language and changed to Spanish in moms presence. Also they talk about other patients in a derogatory way. There is no “memory care” program. They are put in front of tv all day. Management named Sherry acts different until you move your family member in and sign the contract. It looks good on the surface but Terrible, terrible place. Do not trust.
