Shady Lane staff is very nice and help my husband. It’s a house and the rooms are OK. The caregiver is good. I visit my husband after walks. He says generally the place is good, but they could improve on the cleanliness.

My father resided at Shady Lane until his passing. My mother is currently there. The staff is caring and concerned. Shady Lane is not a fancy facility, but they take pride in their work. Clearly my family was happy with how they took care of my father. That is why we now have my mother there.

I haven't heard or seen many good things about Shady Lane Rest Home. The residents don't seem well cared for. We've seen bed sores, for example, because patients are turned often enough in bed. And the staff doesn't seem forthcoming at all with our medical team. About the only good thing I can say is that the administrator comes to doctor appointments with patients at our clinic, so there's at least some degree of caring involved there.
