Sea View Manor House

The Rancho Palos Verdes area of Southern California is a place that is very familiar to our aunt, so it seemed logical that we would visit the Sea View Manor House assisted living facility. We first became aware of the facility since it is just over the Trump Golf Course which our grandfather used to visit. There is a great view of Catalina Island and the Pacific Ocean from that vantage point. We were struck by the quiet and soothing atmosphere, with comfortable inside and outside decks, which have easy access from all of the rooms. Everything is designed for those who have physical challenges, including hallways, main and private rooms and entries and exits. This makes for each resident to be able to easily enjoy all that it has to offer. There are plenty of computers with high speed internet access and staff around to assist with it. Our grandmother is not computer literate, but we think that over time, she may develop a desire to learn. The main rooms were all wonderfully designed and well suited for the comfort of residents and visitors. The independent living spaces had quite a few options, from a single room to a smaller apartment. Each was designed to be easy to adapt to. The caregivers check on residents around the clock, which we were glad to know.
